Fun. You have to really realize what you're getting to not be disappointed. Not life changing, but it is definitely interesting

Summary: My best friend/roommate has these and I've had the pleasure of trying them out with several games. My favorite game to to play while using them was FarCry 3. When you're driving a vehicle on the beach/tropical road, and the wind from the desktop fans is blowing in your hair, it's really really easy to get lost in the game. That aspect is great. Mist would be an interesting addition... and smells! But that's gonna be a while, right? Some Willy Wonka stuff right there.
Summary: So I went a bit overboard with these kits. Was lucky enough to get my first set for free, then a second speaker kit and 2 additional light kits on Woot when they were getting cleared out....so a total of 4 kits for ~$200 I love them, although one of my control units did see it's green and blue LED controllers burn out. The default support isn't great, but there are some 3rd party programs out there (Aurora synethesia) that work great for ambient screen or audio.
Great ambient peripheral for in-game with some catches

Summary: I first saw the amBX in early 2007, I had a mixed reaction to seeing it play. Great ideas take some time to mature and while this is still in infancy, there is maturity here enough to bring it into your home if you are willing. The light effectss are hands-down fantastic. There is integration in games (even some without native support).
