Summary: When travelling I like to be able to play music, audiobooks etc. with having to use headphones or suffer the distortion form my iPhone built-in speakers at full volume. Equally, I don't want to have wires trailing about after me. This handy bluetooth speaker is just what I need. Pairing is aided by voice prompts and is relatively simple. Once done, your chosen music device will automatically connect when in range.
Summary: Unfortunately despite charging it up for ages, sorting out my Blue tooth connections on my Samsung Galaxy phone I have never been able to connect this speaker. I write this as somebody who's not a complete novice at using such things and it would be great if I could boost my phone's sound as I love to listen to podcasts through it. I'll have another go, but it's not particularly user friendly in my opinion, hence the rating.
Summary: This is a pretty spectacular little box. It's very slim, much smaller than I expected, but the sound is even bigger than I was hoping for. It really sounds good considering how small it is. Once you've got it paired up for the first time it's a piece of cake to reconnect each time you need it. You can even control this by just waving your hands - this is pretty cool the first time you try it, and very reliable.
Summary: this is a neat idea, especialy fr those who like gadgets and especially for those who hate leads going everywhere. its essentially a speaker that when charged via usb uses bluetooth to play music from your phone or ipod ( after you buy connector). It also has a sensor that means that if you pass your hand infornt of teh speaker it will change the track. Now if all that sounds great to you then you want to buy one.
Summary: A nice compact speaker with good looks and sound. It's small so fits easily in your bag if you're going away and the bluetooth works well so no wires. Only drawback I've come across is trying to change the device it's paired to, but I think I just need to perservere. Overall, eat product, could do with better instructions.
Summary: Great sound from this speaker, far better than you would expect from something this size. The battery performance is good as well - I managed to get nearly 9 hours from a full charge. Simple and stylish design, with very straightforward controls, and the bluetooth links up quickly and without fuss (though like a couple of other reviewers, I also noticed occasional dropouts when paired to my mobile); the gesture control is a fantastic feature.
Summary: I had reasonably high hopes for this speaker as I already have a desktop docking speaker from Philips which is quite unbelievable for the size. Unfortunately it is a little bulky for taking on holiday etc. so I wanted something that would provide reasonably good sound and easily be taken in hand luggage. Enter the SHOQBOX! For its diminutive size this little speaker is truly astounding and once again exceeded my expectations.
Summary: I've had a mixed experience with this speaker. Pros: I ran it from fully charged to shutting down at a decent volume and it lasted 8hrs 45mins - which is fab and the recharge time was reasonably quick too. When it is connected to the bluetooth on my phone or pc the sound seems to work very well and pairing was very easy.
Great speaker, but stereo pairing leaves more to be desired.

Summary: Great speaker, easy to pair with Bluetooth devices. When trying to pair 2 of these for stereo sound, problems occur. One channel suffers dropouts and also has crackle. I've tried several times to pair for stereo, but to no avail. I tried placing both speakers right in front of the Bluetooth transmitted (usp) and the problem still occurred. As a stand alone speaker this item is great.
