Summary: I bought these to replace a set of multimedia logitech speakers after reading the IXBT review for these. You can have a look at the RMAA analysis on IXBT. You can also see what's inside the speakers on the pics there.
At some point it became clear I needed a 2.0 system or 2.1 system for music, and the corsair multimedia set I had was too V shaped for classical piano/violin + orchestra or metal and sounded horrible.
Pros: clear mids, extended but not overly aggressive highs, pretty good bass.very coherent sound @ a decent price. look nice
Cons: needs a big enough room, sub would do better for the low end. un-eqed bass might be intrusive or overbearing for some, especially close up
Excellent for the first 6 months. Distortion & poor functionality after that.

Summary: On first impressions - these speakers are impressive and provide clear sound throughout the lows and highs. (Mids are a little underpowered, I found.) I was sent the latest model of them when I ordered my pair in March - however after 6 months of regular use, over the past 2 weeks they have suddenly developed several distortions that come and go.
Summary: Microlab solo 7c 2.o excellent powered speakers. im using them in an old prologic AV surround sound processor. the microlabs. could easily be your main speakers. the sound is quality from the speakers. i was really surprised. the speakers are real crackers, and for the price in my opinion you would be onto a real winner in the purchase of these speakers . they must be the best kept secret. don't think twice buy them you wont regret it.......
Summary: I am so so impressed with these speakers, they are the equal or better than ones costing double. they are quality speakers giving out big volume with very little distortion. considering the speaker size its bass is superb.
Summary: Really nice speakers, speaker wire joining them together is only 2.5 m long. Remote is rather flimsy but you can still operate the speakers on 1 input channel without it using on board pots. Only has 2 rca inputs routes av and pc so may not be compatible with newer digital coax and toslink devices, unless you buy a powered adapter box. Recommended!
Summary: Worth every penny... Stock up while you can... Keep a few round yours mum's place. As far as amplification goes, paying a pound a watt pretty much ensures your buying cheap and nasty, these things are awesome and put a smile on your face!
Summary: they are the best sounding speakers ever bought for the price I paid for I had a pioneer 5to1 surround system which I paid $700 for about 4 years ago and the micro lab speakers out do them for deep bass and treble I would not only buy another set I would recommend them to everyone very impressive and with one year standard warranty gives you peace of mind
Summary: If you are interested in a simple active stereo speaker, this is what you are looking for! Nice quality both in sound and material usage. Revised new remove works nice, much better than the previous.

Summary: Speakers arrived today. Good packaging, simple and effective. I did a lot of research into which speakers to get - I was tempted by M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 and Creative Gigaworks T40, but I thought that the drivers wouldn't be big enough to handle bass properly. The picture shows the old version of these speakers - the version I received had speakers that look like:[...
