Great Speakers... highly recommend!

Rob M, Amazon
31 August 2014
  • Summary: For the price these speakers are great. Good sound, nice remote function and not having an extra amp in the loop is a real boon. The only slight niggle is that the led readout is behind the screen and is not very visable.

The remote fiddly and easy to lose leaving you with no treble

barnaby, Amazon
6 July 2014
  • Summary: The remote fiddly and easy to lose leaving you with no treble, bass and input control although there is a physical volume knob. However the sound quality (and build quality) to price is brilliant so 5 stars.

microlabs SOLO1c(08) speakers

MrMidgy, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought them as i needed some monitor speakers for my dj equipment but i have found them to be amazing as i now use them for everything. The sound quality is amazing for a speaker that is so cheap i will recommend anyone on a budget as the price of speakers usauly means the quality. The speakers are easy to setup and evan easier to use i love them.

Bzzzzzzzz

PETE WILSON, Amazon
26 April 2014
  • Summary: Great sound but there's a slight buzz from the right hand speaker I think it's from the power supply. And the buzz is there with all the range of Solo speakers I have tried from 1c to 9c. If you can put up with the buzz when there quiet I'd recommend them. All you have to do is plug the right hand speaker into the mains (nothing else) and there's the BUZZ.

Amazing quality sound

AwesomeAuck "Cob", Amazon
30 March 2014
  • Summary: Got these and planned on connecting them with a 2.1 system. That I found was unnecessary as they provide substantial clarity and depth. The mute and stand-by are a little flawed as they practically do the same thing. These speakers look very smart and have the performance the go with it, giving a good range from the clear gigs to deep bass.

Good price, Good sound

Need Power, Amazon
28 April 2013
  • Summary: For the price they have an excellent sound, the remote control is a bit rubbish and if you lose it the speakers are useless. I haven't lost the remote yet so still very happy with them.

Good sound but not ideal

R. Prior, Amazon
8 December 2012
  • Summary: First of all these speakers sound pretty good and look smart, as covered in other reviews. However I find it hard to recommend them because of a number of niggling issues. For a start there's no way to put the speakers in stand-by, they're either on or off and when you turn them off they lose their previous volume setting and power on in mute mode (which is beyond daft).

Loudspeakers

S. Contractor "conti", Amazon
12 September 2012
  • Summary: I bought these to solve my problem of bad sound from the TV. Unfortunately I have had problems. a. The small hand remote is a fiddle to use. b. It is very directional towards one loudspeaker only. c. There is a small degree of lack of sound synchronization with movement. Very noticeable in closeup speech. I am sure the sound can be good but it was a mistake to buy it for a TV.
