Summary: I spent a good deal of time looking around for some bookshelf speakers for my computer. I decided early on that I wanted a cheap but decent quality 2.0 system for music use as opposed to the awful 2.1 bass heavy systems that currently over crowd the PC speaker market.
Summary: Great Speakers, ideal fora multimedia installation, come with a remote so no need to have anyone to mess with changing the controls, It has 2 inputs, so means I can connect it to a wallbox and present both a 3.5mm, and phono inputs which cover most DVD/computers/MP3 players.
Summary: For the price they have an excellent sound, the remote control is a bit rubbish and if you lose it the speakers are useless. I haven't lost the remote yet so still very happy with them. Much better than the rubbish PC speakers you can buy for much more money
Summary: For the price these speakers are great. Good sound, nice remote function and not having an extra amp in the loop is a real boon. The only slight niggle is that the led readout is behind the screen and is not very visable.
Summary: First of all these speakers sound pretty good and look smart, as covered in other reviews. However I find it hard to recommend them because of a number of niggling issues. For a start there's no way to put the speakers in stand-by, they're either on or off and when you turn them off they lose their...
Summary: Higly recommended for anyone looking in a "serious" pair of high quality bookshelf PC speakers. Solid build with nice wooden cabinets, strong and responsive sound... Reference tracks: Tom Waits - Get Behind the Mule; the Rolling Stones - Ventilator Blues/I Just Want to See His Face; MMW - Queen Bee.
Summary: I bought them as i needed some monitor speakers for my dj equipment but i have found them to be amazing as i now use them for everything. The sound quality is amazing for a speaker that is so cheap i will recommend anyone on a budget as the price of speakers usauly means the quality.
Summary: The speakers were a little larger than anticipated but have a quality look about them with attractive timber sides. Very easy to install with clear instructions provided. The sound quality is excellent with plenty of bass when needed.
Summary: Great sound but there's a slight buzz from the right hand speaker I think it's from the power supply. And the buzz is there with all the range of Solo speakers I have tried from 1c to 9c. If you can put up with the buzz when there quiet I'd recommend them.
Summary: Got these and planned on connecting them with a 2.1 system. That I found was unnecessary as they provide substantial clarity and depth. The mute and stand-by are a little flawed as they practically do the same thing.
