Summary: Item looks great, it is a shame volume cannot go any louder. Having said that the sub woofer more than compensating. At times it can be too much. Brilliant for effects when playing blu ray and DVD. Sometimes speakers have periodic popping sound. Unsure why, but keeping an eye. Altogether aesthetically pleasing and does the job.
Summary: I'll start by saying that if you are moving from a £20 iPod dock or something similar, then this is going to blow your mind. This surround system is capable of hosting parties and just playing music whenever! The subwoofer is not the best, but it is still well worth it, and the bass you get is adequate for pretty much anyone I know. Subwoofer cable is also a tad short.
Summary: Having decided that my ageing Creative 5.1 speaker setup, although fully operational, no longer did full justice to a modern PC's HD multimedia capabilities, I set about finding a replacement. Logitech seemed a good bet, but for PC use only the 1000 watt Z906 seemed over-the-top and the Z506's subwoofer looked disappointingly small. After investigating home cinema kit, which did more than I needed, I stumbled across Microlab.
