It's so clear.

Summary: They're good for the price. Perfect way to start actually. My brother wants these from me lol. They are very clear, but if you're looking for deep bass then this isn't quite you. However, it does have decent bass and it's not hard to deal with at all. I like these alot. I want to keep them in my setup just because they sound so clean. I wish they were two-way but that's where higher-end stuff comes in I suppose. I recommend it.
Summary: Man, this speakers are BASSy! If you like music like Hip-Hop, I think you'll be happy. I'm more hard rock, so I have to mess with equalizer on iTunes to get a balanced sound. I'm using generic audio card from Mac Mini so, I can guess how these bad boys would sound on a proper PC sound card. I had to buy a transformer of voltage since my Country (Peru) we use 220v and the AV40 use 110v. Other than that (and for price), these are great Speakers!
These speakers hook up really easily with the supplied rca to 3

Summary: These speakers hook up really easily with the supplied rca to 3.5 mm jack. They have a lot of mid bass that makes them sound a bit muffled but I think when I hook them to my mixer I can correct that issue. Low bass is Not really an option with these. At low volume the give a little kick but as the volume comes up you can notice that they will NOT take the abuse from Low bass... all in all I am satisfied.
Summary: Great pair of desktop speakers. They produce a perfect balance of clear, crisp sound. No matter how high I turn them up, they never sound over modulated. The only problem is that the sound doesn't get quite as loud as I'd like. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that, though. Overall, I love the warm, rich sound these speakers produce.
Summary: I'm not an audiophile but I've owned a lot of speakers of various configurations, sizes and power. Most of them were adequate, some were good but none of them were the M-Audio Studiophile AV 40. For reference, I'm an avid PC gamer that doesn't have space for surround sound. I enjoy all sorts of music at all volume levels and appreciate high fidelity but don't demand perfection. I watch TV and movies in the living room where I already have a decent sound bar.
Great for regular use, but not for music producing

Summary: These have served me well for the year and a half i've been using them. If you're looking for speakers for regular use and computer audio they're great. However if you're a music producer, you might find that they are not really what you need. They're mostly lacking in the low end, only "4 woofers, so can't really reprocduce the lower freq. I'd recommend upgrading to at least $300-$400 monitors, like the Behringer Truth or the like, which is what i'm about to switch too.
Summary: I picked these up to be able to take with me in my luggage when I travel along with my DJ controller. For this they work awesome. Excellent sound quality and clarity. My only complaint is the pictures around the web actually show the previous version being the one that is sold now in regards to the power cord. It is the same part number for the speakers however they shifted to an integrated power cord rather than the detachable one.
Summary: If you don't have a lot of money and need good speakers to start making music, or you just wanna have some good speakers for listening to music, these are perfect. The have a true sound and are surprisingly loud. I added a subwoofer to mine and that helped bring in the bass others said these speakers were lacking. Good speakers in all, but if you have the money to get something like the KRK Rokit 8's, do it.
Summary: great speakers for the price. they are small enough to fit anywhere you need to and they area all black and sort of just blend into the back ground. it comes with a left and right input into 3.5mm aux cable so they are great computer speakers i use them for my synthesizer and they sound great from the high pitched buzzing noises to the low bass they are a great set of speakers for under 100 dollars.
