Excerpt: I plan to hook up the speakers to my computer to get PBS programs and podcasts on line. I love the rich sound. It's a little bulkier than I had hoped but the largest piece, the sub wolfer is only 11x12x12
Summary: haven't owned it more than a few weeks, have used it every single day though and i'd highly recommend it especially if you find it on sale.
Pros: Awesome bass. The sub is huge, and it sounds huge. I thought highs, lows, mids all sounded pretty good on these. they look good on the desk and everything just sounds amazing now..
Cons: At the very beginning when I plugged them in the right speaker wasn't working, I was worried.. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in and it worked perfectly fine. I probably just didn't connect something as tight as I should have the first time.. so don't freak out if initialy this happen...
Summary: These are awesome for the 99$ I paid for them. Paired with my SoundBlaster sound card, they give excellent sound with all multimedia (movies, games, music). Definitely recommend them at this price.
Pros: Deep, rich bass. Excellent highs. Very loud, will rock the walls if you turn it up loud enough.
Pros: - excellent sound, major upgrade from my old dell speakers - decent price - looks good sitting on the desk - bass control on speakers, no more leaning over to sub to control volume - gets pretty loud, good for music, games, movies - 2 year warranty, sounds fair enough
Cons: - somewhat short cords, still worked fine for me but i could see it being a problem for a small number of people
Pros: Best packaging I've ever had honestly. Logitech is top notch. I was able to track it the whole time. For the price they sound brilliant. The sub hits great too! They really outdid themselves with these. Super adorable.
Summary: I hope they will last forever. But if they don't, I'll probably just buy them again (unless I can afford a system that's over $1000 at that time).
Pros: I bought these speakers about 3 years ago (same model back then, why change perfection?) and it was the best money I spent for anything in my PC or home entertainment setup. It was about thirty less than the price I see today (on sale?), but it's totally worth it to spend a few extra bucks on the...
Cons: The biggest thing is the lack of a remote. But, I am totally used to it, and they are in my small bedroom, don't need to go far. Also, after a few years, dust is in the knobs; so it crackles a bit when I turn the volume up or down. But, these things are not big enough to take away an egg.
Summary: This replaced an old Altec Lansing system I had for years. Huge improvement. Sure it's NOT the quality you would get from B&O system, but it's more than adequate for media through your PC/HTPC.
Pros: Excellent sound quality. Purchased on Shell Shocker for extreme cash savings. I bet this would be pretty awesome for any gaming console system as well.
Cons: While the sound is great, it would have been nice to have a smaller sub-woofer enclosure. It does take up some space under the desk.
Summary: I plan on coming back and follow up on this review year after year as I'm comparing their longevity of these babies!
Pros: To start the packaging was great and everything came totally unscathed when I received it. Second, the sound quality is awesome however, you have to understand that the last pair of 2.1 speakers I purchased was about 16 years ago...they still work but I wanted to upgrade and boy was I impressed f...
Cons: Unless you hate the world there is nothing to complain about
