Summary: In the past I've purchased many Logitech products (including speakers) with no complaints. Doing a RMA for these is pointless, crud is crud. You couldn't give me a set of these speakers unless I needed some magnets.
Pros: At first I thought wow , for computer speakers these ain't bad (except for the world's cheapest power switch). That thought was short lived.
Cons: All of the components used in these speakers are cheap. These speakers worked for about two weeks and issues started to show. The power switch was getting worse, static caused from vibration of the switch was broadcasted. Loud popping when any word with the letter "p" in it and extreme distortion...
Summary: I've owned this set of speakers since 2011. Within two years of ownership the power button contact became loose. So, I had to begin wiggling it around to turn on the audio. This issue has progressed to a major problem that has essentially rendered my speakers useless.
Pros: Great audio
Cons: Irregular speaker shape Easy-to-break power contact Volume adjustment feedback
Summary: Spend your money on a different product... DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
Pros: I typically love Logitech products. However, these 2.1 THX Certified Speakers are HORRIBLE when it comes to games. These speakers have no issues with the following... 1. Movies - VLC, Windows Media Player, PowerDVD 2. Games - Starcraft 3. Internet - YouTube
Cons: HOWEVER, when playing games on Steam...the speakers CONSTANTLY, SNAP, CRACKLE and POP. 1. Batman Arkham Origins Only game I am currently running on Steam, so I could not test others. Also, if you google these speakers it is a pretty common problem. I should have done more research. As soon as I g...
Summary: Don't buy Z623, Z523, or Z323 Speaker System. All three speaker systems that Logitech want to sell are useless! Go with Logitech Z313 2.1 Speaker System. I've bought Z313 speaker system back in 2009 and it still sounds much much cleaner and louder than Z623,m Z523, and Z323 Speakers!
Pros: Decent Bass Bass Control, Volume Control, and Power Button on Satellites instead of using Control Pod
Cons: -Fuzzy/Hissing sound when tuned the volume at 50% or higher -Volume Speaker sounds awfully too low even at volume 40% or more. -Requires too much wattage to raise the bass! -Subwoofer is enormously big to some users who live in small dorm room for college -Audio Sound Quality sounds as worse as Z...
Summary: Ohh logitech, you really know how to make customers regret ever purchasing your lame products... AVOID THIS ONE IT'S A TRAP!!!
Pros: they are loud while they last. and at a hundred and some odd dollars they are cheap.
Cons: These things will not hold up at all, This is my second set, the first the sub started smoking and blew, got a replacement from logitech, had those ones about a month and the same problem happened. Smoking blown sub.
Pros: Good bass, nice sound quality, price wasn't too steep.
Cons: Hmm, where to begin, probably with the smoke that started coming from the sub port hole 3 WEEKS INTO OWNERSHIP. I contacted Logitech, and they sent me a shipping label, I haven't sent them off yet because I don't want to be completely out of audio for 3 weeks while waiting on a new set to be ship...
Summary: Firstly, the subwoofer eventually burst a couple months later! Secondly, music doesn't sound good from these speakers! The sounds are too high pitched and it doesn't sound good. For other sounds, it is good, but not for music!
