Review: Logitech Z600 Bluetooth Speakers Bring Elegance and Great Sound to Your Desk
12 June 2014
Summary: The Z600s are my favorite pair of on-desk speakers I’ve owned. They’re reasonably-priced for a pair of good sounding Bluetooth speakers. They’re absolutely beautiful to look at, and feature several intelligent design decisions by Logitech (like the touch volume control and the lay-flat cable). I used to use an old pair of Cyberacoustics speakers, but it’s safe to say that they’ll never come out of their box for as long as I have the Logitech Z600s.
Summary: We have to say first thing that when we first opened these up, they blew us away with how beautiful they looked. It was easy to find a home where they would be noticed and used. And used and used they were. We never let a day go by where we weren't listening to something. We listen to a lot of music to begin with, but the Logitech Z600 just gave us all the more reason to have something playing all the time. Phones, tablets, laptops; the device did not matter.
Logitech Z600 Bluetooth speaker review: Excellent design and feature rich
19 February 2014
Summary: The Logitech Z600 is priced officially at Rs 12,995, but you can find them for as low as Rs 8,000 on online stores. While this is still a bit steep for a pair of 2.0 speakers, it’s not too bad when you take into account the good audio quality, the ability to pair with multiple devices and the fact that they are lifestyle speakers. Our biggest gripe is the fact that it lacks punch at the lower frequency range. NFC would have also been a nice addition.
Summary: There are plenty of Bluetooth speakers that aim to be portable, but the Z600 are designed to be stuck on your desk. While they don't sound incredible at high volumes and won't blow you away in the style stakes, they're well designed and offer you an easy option to get your audio from various sources out in the open.

Excerpt: ). Since portability isn't a requisite on everyone's "I need this in a Bluetooth speaker" list and some users may just want a standard set of wireless speakers for the desk, we decided to venture out and take a look at Logitech's sexy new Z600 desktop Bluetooth speakers ($150, ). What makes this set unique is that it can pair with and connect to three device simultaneously, making it extremely easy to pull audio from multiple devices – simply pause one and hit play on...
Conclusion: The Logitech Z600 Bluetooth Speakers combine wireless flexibility with the stereo power and affordability of powered desktop speakers, even if their highs and lows aren't particularly strong.
Pros: Flexible Bluetooth connectivity with included USB adapter. Loud, clear midrange.
Cons: Softens deep bass and treble to prevent distortion, but removes the forcefulness and brightness of some songs.
Excerpt: Let's be honest, most computers come with laughable built-in speakers that sound tinny and weak. They are usually quarter-sized speakers that deliver low-quality sound. You can instantly upgrade your sound by purchasing nearly any set of computer speakers , but you should get a quality set that vastly improves your computer audio.
Pros: The Bluetooth connection option is nice so you don’t have to deal with any wires.
Cons: The bass response was decent, but not as good as other speakers we reviewed.
Excerpt: Just as we've got done drooling over the phenomenally outstanding UE Boom wireless portable speaker, Logitech has introduced another wirelessly detached apparatus designed this time for indoor use, preferably placed within a stationary computer setup. Logitech's new Z600 are a pair of stereo wireless Bluetooth speakers that although aren't designed for portable use, can be wirelessly paired wi th up to three devices simultaneously like a tablet, laptop, Desktop PC or...
Summary: Overall, I really like the Z600 Bluetooth Speakers . Probably doesn’t sound that way from the rest of the review, but if you are looking for a solid pair of speakers flanking your computer monitor at all times, the Z600 speakers are terrific and look great. As such, Bluetooth is nice but not really important.
Pros: Can get very loud. Very good audio quality. Bluetooth pairing is simple and works well. Look terrific, and fit with a minimalist design scheme. Pairing three devices at once, with pause and play switching, is well-implemented. Volume controls are touch controls.
