Summary: I have just attached the speakers to my computer, and initially there was no sound from left speaker although both controls did work.A couple hrs. sound came, but went again; and came back after a while. when the music is playing there are sometimes distorted sound coming from this speaker.
Summary: I got these speakers for my boyfriend for Christmas, and he loved them on sight. The only reason I didnt give them more stars is that he told me the right speaker just stopped working for no reason. Theres no returns so I guess we'll just have to get him a new speaker.
Summary: I like the audio overall. The speakers are pretty good with mid and higher range notes and very loud when you want them to be. The subwoofer is okay. I sort of expected more out of it. It has a hard time playing lower bass notes. However, the subwoofer can get very loud and for a small woofer it's powerful.
Summary: I had a pair of Logitech X-230 till the transformer inside started buzzing. Went to get these speakers the Z523 only to be totally disappointed by the sound, the mids are terrible, it sounds kinda metallic and not really there, so i went on and fixed my old X-230 which are awesome compared to these. Now the Z523 sit in a corner collecting dust. Bring back the old line for 2.1 these ones are terrible Logitech and they don`t server well for your name.
Summary: That horrid humming just ruins an otherwise "outstanding 2.1 system" (It’s not a 10in sub, but it’s good for a laptop station and what not.) This humming is so bad, I can't lesson to anything with the sub on, or use it only for my old HP laptop, which is the only thing that I can connect it to and it doesn’t make the noise. But with my iPhone, MacBook, Tablet, etc... It’s nothing but this nonstop humming that only "seems" to go away if you turn the volume up loud.
Excerpt: Clear highs and deep bass but lacks mid-level sound. Decent sound quality overall but would expect more for the price. Used in an office setting so im satisfied with the purchase, however, I would not buy them for a home computer.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great For Office Setting
Summary: Now, I like just about everything to do with the product, minus the satellites. Been using them for about a week now, and they're already popping and crackling on me, no matter what I listen to. It's like the initial popping of an old bad vinyl. The bass is so-so, it want a hard thumper that messes with your clothes, then don't even try. I got these because all I had was a 2.0 and I wanted a little bit of "umph" in my sounds. It does provide that...kinda.
Summary: PROS BEFORE CONS! Pros: -FAST shipping, ordered it late monday night, got them wednesday. -well packed -easy to put together (it's speakers, how hard could it be?) -Seems to be solid construction, has a nice hollow reverb when you tap the sub with your fingers -maybe aesthetically pleasing, not to me, but to you -gets fairly loud. not louder than my car or anything, but louder than my previous cyber acoustics speakers for sure -LOTS of bass -LOTS OF BASS -lots of bass.
Good sound when working, but the sensitiveness of the cable make it risky..
4 August 2011
Summary: Sound very good. Bass amazing. Only negative point which might be related only to my product but the main cable linking the subwoofer to the wall is very, very sensitive. First time I plugged it in a big humming sound came out of the sub. I had to adjust the cable after I realized that was the problem.
