Summary: I had cheaper speakers before I got these. I am somewhat dissapointed since these speakers were double the price of my cheaper speakers and yet are only marginally better. The bass sounds louder but more of a muffled deeper bass and the highs were definitely not clean AT ALL.
Summary: I have just attached the speakers to my computer, and initially there was no sound from left speaker although both controls did work.A couple hrs. sound came, but went again; and came back after a while. when the music is playing there are sometimes distorted sound coming from this speaker. feedback
Pros: Sound quality is good for the price point, sub woofer has plenty of power.
Cons: At this price point, I'd really expect a mic jack. No mic jack to be found :-( The left speaker died after a few days due to a faulty connecter. Logitech was very helpful and sent me an entire new speaker system without asking me to return the old one. I spliced in a new connecter and now I have ...
Summary: I got these speakers for my boyfriend for Christmas, and he loved them on sight. The only reason I didnt give them more stars is that he told me the right speaker just stopped working for no reason. Theres no returns so I guess we'll just have to get him a new speaker.
Summary: I like the audio overall. The speakers are pretty good with mid and higher range notes and very loud when you want them to be. The subwoofer is okay. I sort of expected more out of it. It has a hard time playing lower bass notes.
Summary: I gave it 3 eggs because 6 months after purchasing one of the speakers refuses to work, meaning I now have 60% of a five egg product (40% of the product is left speaker, 40% right speaker, 20% subwoofer)
Pros: Sounds good, not expensive, bass is alright when you consider the price range
Cons: The left speaker stopped working around 6 months after purchasing for no reason. Right one still works fine, but the left one only produces white noise.
Summary: I had a pair of Logitech X-230 till the transformer inside started buzzing. Went to get these speakers the Z523 only to be totally disappointed by the sound, the mids are terrible, it sounds kinda metallic and not really there, so i went on and fixed my old X-230 which are awesome compared to these.
Summary: Overall, the speakers are very well built, and worth the money.
Pros: - Stylish - Powerful - Worth the money - Nice features
Cons: - The 3.5mm PC audio cable was having issues from the beginning: Occasionally the left speaker goes out due to movement of the cable. I confirmed the issue to be with the connector placed on the end of the cable. - The speakers are very glossy, therefore they collect fingerprints and smudges easier.
Summary: People raved that the sub was awesome but i find it mediocre and that it bottoms out too easily. Not worth being a con, just a thought.
Pros: It was refurbished, which led to a big price cut. Crisp Mid/highs. Bass knob on tower speakers instead of being out of the way on the sub itself. Mellow yellow LED power light instead of a blinding obnoxious one.
Cons: It was more expensive than my old Logitec Z340 I was replacing, and doesn't sound as good in my opinion. Also the side mounted 3.5 mm jacks are not good for those with cabinet enclosures. Also there is some subwoofer feedback, a slight hum when nothing is being played through it, and no it is not...
