Summary: I like the audio overall. The speakers are pretty good with mid and higher range notes and very loud when you want them to be. The subwoofer is okay. I sort of expected more out of it. It has a hard time playing lower bass notes. However, the subwoofer can get very loud and for a small woofer it's powerful.
Summary: I had a pair of Logitech X-230 till the transformer inside started buzzing. Went to get these speakers the Z523 only to be totally disappointed by the sound, the mids are terrible, it sounds kinda metallic and not really there, so i went on and fixed my old X-230 which are awesome compared to these. Now the Z523 sit in a corner collecting dust. Bring back the old line for 2.1 these ones are terrible Logitech and they don`t server well for your name.
Summary: That horrid humming just ruins an otherwise "outstanding 2.1 system" (It’s not a 10in sub, but it’s good for a laptop station and what not.) This humming is so bad, I can't lesson to anything with the sub on, or use it only for my old HP laptop, which is the only thing that I can connect it to and it doesn’t make the noise. But with my iPhone, MacBook, Tablet, etc... It’s nothing but this nonstop humming that only "seems" to go away if you turn the volume up loud.
Summary: Now, I like just about everything to do with the product, minus the satellites. Been using them for about a week now, and they're already popping and crackling on me, no matter what I listen to. It's like the initial popping of an old bad vinyl. The bass is so-so, it want a hard thumper that messes with your clothes, then don't even try. I got these because all I had was a 2.0 and I wanted a little bit of "umph" in my sounds. It does provide that...kinda.
Good sound when working, but the sensitiveness of the cable make it risky..

Summary: Sound very good. Bass amazing. Only negative point which might be related only to my product but the main cable linking the subwoofer to the wall is very, very sensitive. First time I plugged it in a big humming sound came out of the sub. I had to adjust the cable after I realized that was the problem.
Summary: My Z523 model makes a very noticeable buzzing sound between all audio when the power is on. Only the right speaker works then the volume is at a relatively low level. This could be because the volume control/bass controls are built in on the right speaker and the right speaker has a more advanced connector to the subwoofer than the left speaker has to the subwoofer. The speakers are slightly bulky and the design is just okay.
Summary: so i got these on sale for 49 bucks... i didnt realize the satalites had speakers pointing in both directions - they are not ideal for audiophiles in my opinion - sound is out of phase from bouncing off walls etc - im just baffled at that design other than that, everything else is high quality another issue though is the analogue volume knob is ... not even...
