Summary: Now I must pay twenty bucks to ship it to CA if I want it replaced. Not worth it for what I paid. Cutting my losses now. I don't think it's fair I need to pay for return shipping when I received a defective product.
Summary: I eventually went with a creative 2.1 set for $40 and have been very happy with it, sound vs costs is fair and its performance is decent, NO BUZZ!
Pros: IF and when they work they sound AWESOME!! by far the best sounding 2.1 system out there...HOWEVER...read below:
Cons: sooner or later this set, I have 2, both of which have been replaced, this set will eventually malfunction and start a horrible BUZZ feedback noise...its super annoying and starts off low and gets super annoying as time goes by, the buzzing varies from the satellites HOWEVER both sets of the SUB buzzed horribly...
Summary: Got cheated in to using google wallet via iOS check out, didn't get $15 discount.
Pros: Good looking.
Cons: It arrived with a dent on the front up right corner. Most importantly, It gives unbalanced sound. The left one gives much bigger sound than the right one. Even after I tried to enhanced the right one in Windows, they are still not balanced.
Summary: It's not worth paying $90 for this abysmal Logitech Z523 with 360 Degree Sound Effect. It will never sound as good as Logitech Z313 and even Z623. Both Z323 and Z523 Speaker 2.1 uses 360 Degree Sound effect and both sounds very garbage! Don't ever buy this speaker again! Go with Logitech Z623 2.1 Speaker with higher, clean bass sound quality. Or if you're on budget, go with Logitech Z313 with fairly decent sound quality.
Pros: Decent Bass More RMS Power Bass Control & Volume Control
Cons: -Useless 360 Degree Sound -Horrible Humming, Buzzing, Harmonic Distortion sound effects -It makes loud buzzing sound as you increase volume up to around 40-50% -360 Degree Sound makes the worse sound quality I've ever heard in my entire life.
Summary: These are a wasted of money. After half a year or so, in the middle of the night... the subwoofer would start emitting a loud low humming sound... PC is in bedroom, scary to be woken up by this... Anyway the humming sound would come and go, until basically it would not stop humming... Completely useless.... I put them on a shelf for months and just tried again, and the humming is on the minute I plug them in. I will NEVER EVER buy speakers from Logitech...
Summary: These speakers are no better than a cheap pair of no-name PC speakers. I can hear the mid and high distortion at only half volume. I see other reviews on here claiming good sound, but all I can say is keep your reciept. I am taking these back, and I bet the replacements won't be Logitech.
Cons: Dead right out of the box purchased to replace poor quality Logitech LS21 just getting around now to setting them up to find they don't work now having to fight with Logitech on warranty since where out of the newegg 30 range.
