Excerpt: it had good sound and depth but wasn't what we were looking for. we needed a sound system to hook up to a projector for an outdoor movie and it didn't have enough volume for that so we returned it.
Summary: Im sorry. I read the reviews and I believe that most of the people who are reviewing these speakers are not people who have been die hard Logitech fans for a long long time like me. These speakers weighed less than a stick of bubble gum and probably would float if I put them in water. They had horrible sound and some even crackled. I honestly thought I would be getting a set that I could at least use for 6 months until spending a little more.
Great Successor to the X540; but lacks Matrix Mode
12 November 2013
Summary: I've had the same X540 system in my small bedroom for years; never had a lack of sound from that thing; I never run it full, it packs a punch for such a small system. Only issue is that after a few years of use, the sound is beginning to reverberate slightly, very annoying and noticeable with droning noises (such as a car accelerating in video games).
Summary: As of 6/30/13 Staples has these listed online at $99.99, I bought a set at Walmart for 74.88 so it is well worth the price as compared to other merchants. My problems with this model stems from the fact that all the wattage ratings don't equate to volume. In the environment that I am trying to listen to them in I have to turn the volume all the way up and on the source as well. With the input maxed it adds distortion, can't say I didn't get what I paid for right?
