Cons: The cords are thick and tight. They twirl and go everywhere, I can not hide them well. They are not very long. My Front Right that adjust sound as well went out. It still adjust just no sound. Have had for 3 years and the Front Right went out a year ago from light use. ((*Not a long term setup**))
Summary: Logitech sent me a new one without wanting the defective unit back. So I now have two sets of speakers after repair. The failed component appears to be an E-Switch TL2230, they're available on Digi-Key in minimum orders of 1000, but is otherwise a cheap piece of junk.
Pros: Worked briefly. And working again after invasive repairs.
Cons: Really cheap components. Power button died after a few months of average use. Fixed with a cheap rocker switch, a dremel, and a soldering iron. Most users will throw the unit away long before that point.
Pros: Priced reasonably for surround sound speakers.
Cons: With 2.1 stereo, I noticed a fair amount of static in the right front speak that would also cut out intermittently. Not as noticable in 5.1 surround sound, but it's still there. Contacted Logitech Support, but got absolutely nowhere with them. They would only ask if the speakers were under warran...
