Summary: This product is as good as advertized. It does not get five stars for the simple reason that I think it should cost a little less. HOWEVER... you should read my review so you can evaluate WHERE this product is best suited. Case in point, this speaker is meant for an elongated computer testing station that can hook up four computers at one time.
Summary: This is a great little speaker. I use it in the morning when I shower. I needed a speaker that had enough volume to compete with the bath fan. This works just great. I connect my LG G2 phone and use Spotify to play my favorite tunes. Because this speaker has no volume control, I max the volume on my phone. It's not the sound quality of a high end stereo system with speakers, but what do you expect at this price? The only drawback is that there is not an ON/OFF switch.
Summary: Works nicely, good volume, although I had to dig up the OS volume control as well as the video player volume control to maximize the results in some cases. The only other drawback aside from no built in volume control is that it does not have a USB power supply. The small footprint and large sound makes it a bargain. I use it for the sound when playing DVDs on my vintage laptop, whose speakers are barely adequate.
Excerpt: Bought one of these for my mum so she could listen to music from her laptop with some decent volume.I gave it a 4 instead of 3 cause price is great. This delivers volume and decent bass (the little thing it is). MAIN drawback is that it can't run powered by a USB port, you gotta plug in into a wall. So no use if you wanna use it with your laptop out in the park. Also no stereo of course.decent volume, good price, no stereo, no possibility to USB power it.
I needed a good but portable speaker for my laptop

Summary: I needed a good but portable speaker for my laptop. I wanted a single speaker rather than dual or an extra bass speaker. Something handy to listen to music on occasionally. I am hearing impaired and my eq. settings are generally considered "annoying" to most people. This speaker works great. Small and handy yet it gives out a good range of sounds that allows me to tweak the settings and find a good mix for myself.
Summary: I bought this to connect to a surveillance camera -- imagine a burglar hearing "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" It works perfectly. I've got two, and both of them have power cords that I need to be just a single inch longer. Can't have everything, I suppose. But it's a great speaker that I highly recommend.
Summary: I wanted a stupid plug-in speaker to connect to my smartphone, so I could play Spotify Free in my bedroom. That's exactly what this is. It gets nice and loud. It's not stereo (obviously), but I don't care. The bass is decent enough. The cost is quite reasonable for what you get, and I don't have to worry about recharging it.
Summary: I didn't read the description carefully, so I was surprised that there was no volume control on this speaker like the set I use with my desktop. I found that it didn't matter so much, because the sound is amplified adequately and the speaker is just so CUTE!
Summary: My laptop volume control sucks. This speaker fixed my problem. It just plugs into your headphone jack and brings the volume up. There is no volume control on the speaker itself so you still have to max out the volume control from the laptop. It made it loud enough for me to hear when they whisper in movies. I hate it when they whisper!
