Summary: Good quality sound for my desktop to play my iTunes with. Plus they don't take a lot of space on top of my desk. They have quality depth to the sound of the songs. Much better than the cheaper speakers I had gotten from Logitech from Walmart. As some others have noted the bass could be better. But I really like a lot of bass and other than that they are just fine for music.
Summary: I decided to put them in my classroom and they do the job well. the angling helps send the sound around the room and away from the close students. Easy to set up and easy to use on my new Mac.
Summary: We purchased these to sit in a training room our HR department uses. These little guys sound great and the rear speakers really do fill up the room with sound vs the standard desktop speakers.
Summary: Not much to say other than that I think these are pretty good speakers. I use these for my desktop and believe that they sound great. The only thing I hate about these speakers are that they're dust magnets.
Summary: We buy these for classrooms in our school district. I have used them in classrooms as large as 50ft x 50ft, and everyone was able to hear clearly. In fact, I normally had to turn the volume down. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because the bass sounds are not as audible as I'd like, but for this price, they are well worth the money.
Summary: I bought this item refurbished at a huge discount to the regular price, and it appeared brand new in all respects, so I am happy overall. But a decent 2.1 setup sounds much better than this. If at all possible, I would go that route. If not, these will do the trick for decent, basic sound. They are a million times better than the speaker built into my monitor!
