Summary: I've had this set of speakers for a little over a year now. They have a decent amount of power to fill up a medium sized room. There is a lot of bass that comes from the subwoofer. The only downfall in this speaker system is that there is no separate volume control for the bass. Sometimes the bass is very overpowering. This system has a tremendous sound for how small it is. I plan on buying the Z323 next.
Excerpt: I work a lot with professional sound systems, and care about having at least some semblance of a full sound from my office computer. This is not a recording studio-quality system, but for something that can make listening to music at work more enjoyable, this hits the spot. I've been able to stretch this system to its limits to hear some crackling, but most people wouldn't crank it that loud ever. I actually separated the subwoofer from the speakers.
Summary: Just looking for a compact sub for my needs and it fit the bill. Listing freq specs is a plus. Only needed the sub for A/V receiver that wasn't a monster on space. Only accepts stereo signal via mini stereo plug. Fortunately, receiver has provision for separate stereo pre-amp signals. Otherwise, system meant for pc's by the hardwired input plug. Inline with plug to sub, hardwired cable sports wired remote with controls normally found on the backside of typical sub.
Excerpt: ros: If you cannot afford Logitech Z623 200 w or care too much about audio then these are pretty dang good. They come packaged well, the sound is full, speaker cones protected, volume control unit, and decent clear levels of sound for your computer needs.Cons: Not loud enough to entertain people.
Summary: Bought these for my Dell PC. A little disappointed. I had to turn the bass almost off to get a good balanced sound. Bass is not very good, but the satellite speakers sound pretty good for the price. I wish I would have spent another $20-$30 for a better set, though.
