Decent sound for the price, but not without drawbacks

Summary: It's an ok value for the money, but next time I'm spending more for a higher quality sound system. You get what you pay for with audio equipment.
Pros: Have owned and used daily for over 3 years Clear sound at low to medium volume Subwoofer provides a good bass presence Easy to setup and install, worked right out of the box Small size components are space-saving
Cons: Distortion/compression at higher volumes High volume is not that loud, even with Windows sound at 100% On my particular unit, the volume wheel creates static every time it is adjusted, and some wheel positions cause the sound to completely cut out from one or both speakers, causing me to spend ti...
Summary: I bought these speakers to use with a home theater PC. The sound is better than that coming from the flat screen TV. The only downside is that you can't control the speakers from the remote. There are two small speakers and a subwoofer.
Summary: I purchased this at $30 and it's not worth any more than that. While it delivers clear, room-filling sound and a very good subwoofer and bass, it has pretty major issues that, if I bought this at the full $50 price, I would be quite mad about.
Summary: Subwoofer was a big disappointment. Bought this set to replace a old set that also was a logitech. Old one did have bass adjuster. Though this newer version would have better sound overall and while it is way louder the bass lacks significantly at any volume.
Excerpt: They sound ok for what I paid for them. The sub does not have a separate volume control to control the mix. So when playing back different media types it can be a little rough sounding. if I had it to do over I would go to to the next model up.
