Summary: Just looking for a compact sub for my needs and it fit the bill. Listing freq specs is a plus. Only needed the sub for A/V receiver that wasn't a monster on space. Only accepts stereo signal via mini stereo plug. Fortunately, receiver has provision for separate stereo pre-amp signals. Otherwise, system meant for pc's by the hardwired input plug. Inline with plug to sub, hardwired cable sports wired remote with controls normally found on the backside of typical sub.
Summary: Subwoofer was a big disappointment. Bought this set to replace a old set that also was a logitech. Old one did have bass adjuster. Though this newer version would have better sound overall and while it is way louder the bass lacks significantly at any volume. Save yourself some money and buy a set that does not have a subwoofer or get one with bass control.
Excerpt: ros: If you cannot afford Logitech Z623 200 w or care too much about audio then these are pretty dang good. They come packaged well, the sound is full, speaker cones protected, volume control unit, and decent clear levels of sound for your computer needs.Cons: Not loud enough to entertain people.
Summary: The bass speaker is on the bottom of the speaker+ the air flow is on the front, so if not careful you can push the speaker in by accident from grabbing it on the bottom like we did. But don't think it affect speaker sound..
Excerpt: This Logitech Z313 is referred as a 2.1 speaker system (2 satellite speakers plus 1 sub-woofer). If you want to hear deep bass in your music, a sub-woofer is a must, and it should be placed on the floor for best results. Compared to Logitech's Z520 2.0 (only 2 speakers, no sub-woofer) speaker system, which I recently also tested, it is quite apparent that Z313 has much deeper bass, although the Z313 system costs less than half the price of the Z520.
