Summary: To downplay how good these speakers are would be akin to pooping on a Honda because its not a Lamborghini. If anyone could point me toward a better speaker for the money, I'd greatly appreciate it and place my order today.
Pros: Originally offered at $60, this 2 driver, tube speaker, with Signal and power provided by a single USB connection, optional 3.5mm input, is a masterpiece of simplicity and functionality. I use it as my wonderfully unobtrusive desktop speakers. It's not going to be the centerpiece for a house part...
Cons: they STOPPED making it. Unless Logitech plan to make something BETTER along these lines, I sure wish they'd bring this bad boy back.
Pros: Quite impressed. Purchased expecting a middling to moderate improvement in sound quality over laptop spkrs. This far surpassed that expectation. Would say quality easily that of fair to decent set of desktop speakers. I'm not one for mega-bass, but do play music that has some deep lows, and have ...
Cons: The power cord could stand another couple inches in length. Both sides of the connector the fit is a little loose.
Summary: I have the sound level at 25% and it is plenty loud.
Pros: I was debating between the Z205 vs the Z305. I actually bought the Z205 first, but was a little disappointed in the warmth of the sound, although the volume was plenty loud. I then decided to buy the Z305 and was very pleased. The sound was much more for the little extra money. The bass was much ...
Cons: None so far. I used the Z305 with a 24" monitor and so don't have the problems others have stated as far as the weight of the speakers for laptop screens.
Summary: I use this every day in the morning to listen to Democracy Now's daily Youtube broadcasts while I make my breakfast.
Pros: Clips securely and unobstrsively, the USB cord is just the right length to reach the ports on the back of my laptop, the sound is good and very loud, the direction of the speakers appears to be out to the side but it sounds like it's coming right at you, the cord hides nicely and the carry bag is...
Cons: If it also had a built-in mic that might've been useful to make it an all-in-one telecommunication booster but honestly I can't think of any flaws
Summary: Much better volume and range than the stock speakers on my laptop. It clips easily onto the top of the screen without covering the camera. It also has rubber pads that hold it securely and prevent it from scratching the laptop case.
Pros: easy to use, convenient storage, good sound quality and volume
Pros: VERY impressed at the first sounds out of these speakers! While they are not going to fill up a room of any size, they produce a warm, natural, and expansive sound for the user at his/her laptop. With the discount code and free shipping, these were a steal! :-)
Summary: Logitech is a great company with excellent customer service, if you keep your receipt and ever have issue's they will take care of you (speaking from past experience with gaming headsets of which they replaced within 10 days).
Pros: Replace's your tone deaf laptop speakers, an immediate improvement for multimedia lover's who travel.
Cons: None, because replacing laptop speakers can only be a positive.
Summary: This was bought for a two-year-old Acer netbook. Anyone who owns a netbook (also bought from Newegg) will know that sound quality is virtually non-existent. When I attached this little clip-on speaker to the netbook, I expected just a modest improvement.
Pros: Lightweight, Protective Case, Protected USB Cord Inlet
Summary: Bought this to use with my Toshiba Thrive tablet. I did find that the USB cable a little too short for this purpose, so I purchased a AC-USB adapter, to provide power to the speaker, when the Thrive USB port is being used.
Pros: Nice design . Really portable with a laptop. Nice bass, given the small dimensions of the speaker itself.
