Not a worthwhile upgrade to laptop speakers, if they're an upgrade at all.

Summary: Mine arrived crackling due to some kind of internal damage, but even without taking that into consideration, the sound quality was pretty low. I don't know why these have been so well rated elsewhere. They might be a shade better than on-board speakers, but not by enough. Certainly not enough to justify the price. The clip-on idea is nice, but there are speakers almost as portable with far better sound quality than these.
Disappointing. Minimally better than notebook speakers, but not significantly so.

Summary: Bought these as a replacement for another Logitech notebook speaker set I had damaged. Unfortunately, the quality of sound is far inferior to the old ones. I wasn't expecting ultra high quality sound, but these sound tinny and hollow and are quite disappointing when compared to the ones they replaced. On the plus side, they clip on easily and require no setup. Overall, this was a bad choice.
Summary: Ordered one and the speaker stopped working...sent it back, rec'd 2nd one same problem. Works for a few days and then useless! What a waste of money!!! You heard the saying Screw me once shame on you...screw me twice shame on me. Not ordering this brand again!
Pros: Small in size and cheap. Easy install in Windows 7 - 64bit. Decent sound if you tune out the background noise.
Cons: I have it installed on Toshiba Satellite laptop. It covers the webcam unless you move the unit to the side of the screen. The only negative point I noticed was a background noise in the speakers which is quite noticeable and is annoying when there is no audio sent to the speakers. Google Voice did not work with this unit and I had to switch back to built-in speakers. I installed the unit on another computer that has different sound card - the same issue with backgroun...
