Summary: Inexpensive speaker for my dorm room NOT portable// as in it does not hold a charge/power on without being plugged into a power source via mini usb cable Has an AUX input in the back for direct hookup to a phone or mp3 player if you have the USB power supply connected to a wall adapter plugged into/powered by a wall outlet. This was great for my dorm room, but definitely not a party-speaker...

Summary: Very good speaker. The clip is a little stiff for my thicker-than-normal 17-inch laptop screen, so it occasionally sort of works its way up to the top and then pops off (though this takes a while). Also, the volume control is sort of strangely placed in my opinion. Summary: We all know how lame laptop computer speakers are, this corrects that. No, you won't be getting a BOSE experience, but they sound pretty darned good for what they are. If you want large sound, buy LARGE speakers, this is what you do for decent sound if you need portable.
Summary: Okay, but nothing fantastic. Seems to specifically hit mid range only, no significant highs and (obviously) no bass. Almost sounds a little "boxy" if you're familiar with component speakers playing without any tweeters. These in no way will compete with desktop speakers, but that should be assumed. I believe that these are on par with the other 20-30 dollar laptop speakers you can find on Amazon, but these have a doubled price tag due to the brand.
