Summary: Ok, I've been using some "legacy" Labtec LCS-1050 speakers for a donkey's age. I think I paid like $20 for them years and years ago, so I figured I'd marginally upgrade and get something newer. I bought these z150s and I can't say the sound is any better.
Wow. Who knew so much sound could come out of small speakers like this?

Summary: Amazing quality. I dont need any extra software to "boost" volume or anything. I can watch netflix with this and it has incredible sound. No booming bass, but thats to be expected without a subwoofer.
Summary: The sound quality is suitable for the low-end speaker systems. Crank it up and eventually, they'll buzz more than Ray Davies' 1963 amp. Using the headphone jack, however, spares the speaker's material and only blows out headphones! For small, low cost needs, this easily gets a repeat-buy preference.
Pros: Headphone & Mic jacks on clearly visible on the front. The Power & Volume Control Knob are old-school and easy to use - no tiny sidewheels, just a clear Off On and Louder Knob. 5-star for User Controls.
Cons: Power brick will cover up some electrical outlets. This also means the speakers are lightweight and a good sneeze or desk jiggle may cause them to shift. (Blocking electrical outlets earns at least 1 Star degradation.)
Summary: PC Rush was very friendly and let me RMA it right away, and I would've done so if the price for shipping wasn't so high. It ended up just not being worth the hassle. So in the future I will trust PC Rush, but I won't buy another Logitech product.
Pros: Neat design Good customer service (PC Rush)
Cons: The sound is awful. I expected it to be mediocre for the cheap price, but it is worse than the speakers that came with the PC our family bought 10 years ago. I wanted to upgrade from them, but these pair are just awful. Tinny highs and nonexistant lows. I could maybe live with that, since I have ...
Summary: I had to move these replacement speakers from either side of my monitor (the ideal location) to a shelf above an outlet strip. That left excess power cord and just barely enough speaker to speaker cord length and barely enough input cord length. I guess I'll have to find and M to F extension cord.
Pros: Small footprint, acceptable sound quality, power cord length was adequate.
Cons: No bass, which was expected, short input cord, short cord between speakers.
Pros: The speakers look much better quality (and slightly bigger) than the ads. Unfortunately i cannot listen to them yet
Cons: Unfortunately the speakers were sent with a euro power plug. I thought i had been hasty and made a mistake and ordered the wrong ones but.. nope.. just checked there is a US power supply in the pictures in the ad. Ill try to find/rig a power supply.. theyre 5v so shouldnt be a problem. But it's v...
Summary: Great for the office when you need something that looks great, sounds great, and won't anger your co-workers...and won't break the bank. You will spend more on lunch in one week.
Pros: These are great little desk top monitors. Audio is very clear, price is right, aesthetics are modern. These work perfect for conference calls and the occasional internet video. They include inputs and outputs to integrate with your portable audio device and headphones while remaining connected to...
Cons: These are not super rich bass music lover monitors, but I knew that before purchasing. No real cons.
