Summary: I just bought these! After reviewing for a few days I saw how small and cute these speakers were. I said what the hell and got them, soooooooo happy I did! They fit in your hand, have a space in the back for the wires and are pretty loud. I listen to all types of music and they hold uo to metal, reggae, dub step etc... They do distort a little bit if too loud... but what speakers don't? Great buy!
Summary: Got these to replace Logitech S150 USB Speakers with Digital Sound . Much better. Great, clear sound for compact speakers. Really like the cord storage in back, too. Some static and popping when performing other functions on the PC (downloads, etc), but very satisfied with sound when not multi-tasking. Good value for the price.
Summary: We recently got a small flatscreen TV for the bedroom, and true to form for small flatscreens, the speakers were horrible. After doing a little research, I decided on these speakers, and am very happy with the choice. They're unobtrusive, they're USB-powered so I didn't have to run more cable to the wall, and their sound is perfectly adequate for this sort of use - they're loud and clear. I can't see how you could beat it for the price.
Summary: Really great sound and am happy with my purchase overall. Sound is great from most music, unless you are at loudest and are listening to stuff with a lot of base then distorts at high volumes. Overall music sounds great and plays plenty loud even for a small group of friends. However on my Thinkpad x120e causes a noticeable buzz when plugged in (not too bad), muting computer nor turning off volume on speaker doesn't help.
Summary: For how tiny these speakers are in size and wattage, they provide a surprisingly strong sound. I feel the highs and mid-range are comparable to the larger, 6-watt Yamahas I used with my old desktop computer. Being able to tuck excess cord away is also a nice plus. I do have a few minor quibbles. The bass is weak due to the small size and only one driver on each speaker.
Summary: Very good and clear sound, looks cool too, retractable cord is a plus, only cons with this speaker is not properly shielded for interference,on my toshiba laptop works great but when I use use it on my HP Magneseum gray Quad core desk top you hear all kinds of interfernes, because my desk top have so many usb port that is occupied, the solution is if you dont wanna hear any interfernce, use it on your laptop or make sure you dont plug anything right beside its usb power...
Summary: Definitely worth the price. If you need a budget-minded pair of USB-powered speakers, you really can't go wrong with these. I would recommend them to anyone. Too bad there are no color choices other than white.
Summary: These speakers also have a 1/8th inch jack that can be plugged into any device that allows for that type of jack and they get their power from any USB source. I have plugged them into my laptop and thought the sound was great and also plugged a small Archos device into it and was listening to my favorite songs and the radio with great clarity. (I also want to try to plug it into my big screen TV to see if I can get additional sound from it.
Summary: This is a great product. Especially for college students like me.. they do the job and are easy to take places and fit in a suitcase of any size. They're not bulky and super-easy to set up. The sound is pretty decent for the amount you're paying. They also get pretty loud before sounding scratchy. I really like them, and I like to listen to my music loud so they're great for me. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for portable good sound, at an inexpensive cost.
