Summary: Great speakers. They don't crack at all even in full volume. I purchased the set at Tiger direct about 4 years ago and I haven't heard a deeper sounding sub woofer especially when you are listening to dub step or something. Very well built and serves its purpose for under 80 dollars.
Summary: i really like these speakers. while not as good as the logitech z2300 speakers, they are a nice alternative. and where they lack vs the z2300, they make up for in features. i didnt want to get rid of these, but a family member wanted to buy them for speakers for their TV! this is where they make up for any weaknesses they have. i used to use them to play music and i could be across the room using the remote to control it all.
Summary: I really wish Logitech still made this exact set, I would have bought 2 more sets easily. Fantastic speakers, great sound. The inclusion of the Windows Media Center remote is awesome. All in all this one of the best sets of computer speakers I have ever purchased... next to my Logitech Z5500's.
Summary: First of all, I purchased these for 49 bucks at my local compusa over a year ago, I can't believe the price now!! I used to work in a research facility where I had access to audiophile grade audio equipment. So I've had the experience of listening to music on the highest quality hardware available and let me tell you it is freaking sweet.
Summary: if you like to play music from your PC like Pandora (my fav.) YouTube or Itunes or just your own playlist and want to be able to rock the room - this is the system for you! For the money this is a great system! sounds amazing! no need for another stereo --- I like my music loud. Buy it you won't be disappointed!
Summary: I have not done everything this system is capable of yet, and I probably never will. I do like having the choices, though. I bought a refurbished set for much less than a new set, and it's perfect. It looks great, the readout on the right speaker is really cool, and the sub packs a serious punch. Contrary to another reviewer, the volume on the remote is simply just turning the knob- that's it.
Summary: Got these speakers when they were only 79.99. Man do I love them. The remote that comes with them is an absolute joy to use. I've been using it to sit back and watch Instant Netflix movies through media center, and only remember i'm watching on a computer when the network slows down. Speaker sound is what I would call Normal quality, definitely not bad, but also not excellent.
Summary: I spent a ton of money back in 1998 for some special Altec Lansing speakers (with subwoofer) that I have enjoyed for the past 11 years or so years. I've upgraded my PC about 5 times since then but always kept those speakers - I really liked them. Recently I noticed some rattling from the sub - a sign that age had started its work on the paper driver. I did some research and found the Logitech Cinema-Z system...at an awesome discount.
