Summary: I am so pleased with these speakers. The sound quality is amazing. Especially for a simple girl like myself. They hooked up easily. My only complaint is that the remote is corded to the speakers which means you can't use it from anywhere in the room. But other than that I definitely love them and would purchase again.
Summary: I bought these speakers about 8 months ago, and overall they're pretty good! They were very easy to set up, and I have not had any issues so far. The woofer rattles a little bit at high volume, and cannot handle some of the high pitched bass, such as in Vans - by The Pack. The woofer sounds great if you stand to the side of it, but for some reason when you are in front, some of the bass is lost. The speakers are great for movies and games, and have high quality.
Summary: Have been using these speakers for 6 months, and honestly I couldn't have found anything better for the price. These really pack a punch and look awesome with my Mac setup. I use the Griffin iMic to hook them up to a MacBook Pro or the Cube. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is that there's no remote, which would be really handy. As it stands I just keep the volume control under the 24" Dell screen which stays hooked up to the laptop.
Summary: These sound great - no complaints except for the exposed speaker compnents. Could easily get damaged if kids or other users mess with your speakers. Sound great and look sharp in white and silver. Good range (bass and treble).
Summary: I am using this with my iMac since I am listening to a lot of music and making movies. Given this price point, the clarity of the bass is truly amazing, and the highs are surprisingly clear too. The mids and lower mids could sound a bit more full, but playing with the EQ on the computer helps reduce the slightly "thin" quality. The features are excellent (volume and bass control on seperate accesible switch), and it's easy to set up.
Summary: I purchased the Z-4i's after researching computer speakers on line and listening to some. I decided on these, plus they match my MacMini. They are a good value for the money; I paid $75. I did not want a big subwoofer, otherwise, would likely have gotten the Z-2300. I also considered the Altec Lansing VS2321 & similar, but liked these better for several reasons.
