Summary: I must say the actual sound quality is better than I expected, but the build quality not so much. In the beginning, this unit was succeptible to startlingly loud static whenever the cables or the unit itself gut bumped. The connections on the outside were solid, but a couple of the internal connections needed to be re-soldered correctly.
Summary: Not the best speakers, but they are very decent in sound quality. The only con is that the bass level is behind the bass and not in the remote control. But both satellites broke before reaching a year. But good thing the Logitech warranty covered it, and sent me a whole new package; even without me returning the used one.
Summary: I gave the Logitech Z-3e 4-out of 5 stars becuase I have noticed the smaller "satillite" speakers (the small ones)tend to pop and crackle when pushed to there limit. The Sub is very powerful and add much needed low end. If you keep the volume at a "normal" level these speakers perform very well.
Summary: I've been using these speakers daily for around 6 years now and am actually a bit sad that they were discontinued some time ago.
- Very affordable, as far as I remember I paid around 30 Euro for them
- Sleek design. The aluminium fits in well with every desktop
- For the price the sound is very decent.
Summary: These speakers are really neat. I got them for $15 at an awesome deal, and I can't stop raving about them. The only issue, however, is that if the input signal clips, the speakers just mute. This does get a little irritating at times, however, if you reduce the source volume, the problem is usually solved. The sound is gud, however, it does hold an extra ounce of bass (Even when the bass control is all the way down).
Summary: These speakers are designed to sit on a desktop, but they can do much more than that. These speakers aren't going going to wake up your landlord, but for the money are an excellent investment. I plugged them into my tv (a ten year old unit, but still), and was amazed at all the sound I had been missing. rumbling machinery, footsteps, even background music that my tv speakers just weren't delivering. Hooked into my laptop, they have replaced my old stereo.
Summary: For the price, these speakers rock. I'm really enjoying the satellite volume controller. One thing I'm not fond of is the PS2 type connection on the woofer, if it's bumped or slightly jiggled, the sound can cut in and out on the speakers. Overall, I definitely recommend these speakers.
Summary: I got these about half a year ago to replace an old caimbridge soundworks 5.1 system which would have taken up too much space in my new dorm room. The speakers weren't of the same quality, but I also ended up paying about 1/5th the price. Nevertheless, the two sattelite speakers are decent. However the subwoofer was really bass-y and boomy, and was simply overpowering for the system.
Summary: Well, I have had these speakers for about 4 months and I am pretty happy with their performance. Use them with my laptop, TV, PS2 everything sounds great, and here's a gist of what I think of the overall performance Pros: - Sub is very powerful, can rock a small room like my bedroom, nothing like listening to thumping music in the morning :) - sound is clear even at really high volumes - bought them at an awesome price just 26$ worth every penny Cons: - the bass...
