Pros: Amazing bass, pretty good highs (better with tweeters), excellent for movies and games.
Cons: Lacking low midrange (fixable using frequency response graph and realtek), cables short, no tweeters and the satellites permanently face upwards. Only one input slot. Bass cannot be turned completely off. Wires too short.
"It's a good speaker set but certainly not the best."

Pros: Nice strong bass Plenty of mids with my set. Very good looking speakers
Cons: The subwoofer can be tuned a little lower, it's lacking a lot of low bass. The sub can get quite boomy, stuffing the port makes it sound a lot less boomy. Anything beyond 50% volume and 100% bass is pure distortion. Taken grill off sub, knocks on it.
Summary: Hooked this up to my Imac to replace the internal speakers. The Imac's internal speakers arent all that bad, but this speaker system still blows it away. Great clear sound. With a subwoofer control at your fingertips, the bass is just right too. I honestly wouldnt have believed you could get a system that sounds this good for the money. Chances are you'd have to spend quite a bit more to get something better.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Great Sound Quality
Too powerfull for satellites the system came with.

Summary: this are a great set of speakers, one thing you should look out for the two satellites after a while starts to give problems how ever the sub it great so want u can do is do like me an buy your self a pair of sony bookshelf speaker or any pair of stereo streakers.does not have to be powers u do this an the system play perfect.
Summary: first off these are an amazing buy! best system that you can find if you want something cheap that you can plug straight into your pc, mac, xbox 360 (the list goes on). the ONLY bad thing that i have found about them is there is no separate input port to plug your ipod into and when you turn it up really high the speakers get disto. but keep in mind that i does take a lot to get disto out of these. totally worth the money though.
