Summary: There are almost endless reviews for this product on the internet, boasting about it's quality. I am not here to challenge that. If you want 2.1 (2 satellites, 1 woofer) speakers than there is really no other item on the market comparable in quality. HOWEVER!!!! If you are content with losing 1 of the 2 satellites within an unreasonably short time, go ahead and purchase these.
Summary: These speakers are very good initally. They have great sound and the sub delivers very good bass for its size. However, I've had these speakers for less than 6 months and the left speaker is already broken (it cannot play low sounds without coming distorted). I wish I knew how to return these. If I could return it and get a new one under warranty I definitely would because, like I said, they're good speakers.
Pros: These are great for what they are made for - PC listening. I've enjoyed them and don't regret buying them for a minute. But after marvelling at their crystal clarity in the range they perform best at, I've had to accept THAT range is rather limited.
Cons: No mids. I read this when i first bought these, and rather painfully accepted it to be true on the first day. I've lived with it and it's not been terrible - they are PC speakers after all. But they don't come anywhere near my Shure SE530's.
Summary: I like the speakers & how they sound however this pair exudes fuzzy distortion when turning volume control up or down. Once volume is in place speakers sound great but not happy about the fuzzy distortion.
Summary: Speakers have very high volume output, however, sound quality is mediocre at best. Bass is muddy, and midrange lacks. If you like loudness for your computer system, these will suit you. If you are a true sound enthusiast, you will not be jumping up and down about them.
Pros: good for movies, and maybe not bad value for money
Cons: bass unit just muffles and rumbles. i guess that would be ok if the satellites were decent, but i found their sound a bit tinny. so overall, just a high pitched grainy ear aching treble with a low rumble.
Pros: While I chose not to buy this product, a friend just got his rig. This system has power, especially in the bass department. Fills up the entire dorm room hallway, you can feel it in the concrete floor.
Cons: Bass is all boom, left/right channel are scratchy, lacking mids and are no match for the 8 inch sub. They can get tedious to listen to, especially with songs that require tight bass or sultry vocals.
Pros: Great sound if you want to fill a room, sit back and listen to music or watch a movie. Impressive highs and bass.
Cons: Mid tones are lacking, subwoofer is MASSIVE, sound quality lacks considerably at low volume levels. Mine are about a year old now and for as long as I can remember now the left speaker just does not work when you turn the volume down low.
