Best Computer Speakers with Rich Bass/Treble Tones, date/time.
3 March 2014
Summary: I love them to pieces! The sound is very rich, doesn't sound like your typical pc speakers. I enjoy listening to them when gaming, or listening to music. Rich bass tones, treble tones, and it's nice to see the time and date on the speakers when it's dark. It works with Windows 8.1 OS, too! It's my 2nd pair, my other pair lasted like 7 years, and would have lasted longer if it wasn't dropped too many times.
Summary: I've had these speakers, that I purchased from CompUSA(remember them?) when they were closing down. I remember looking at them for many days, and the prices didn't go down too much, but I think I still got a decent deal: around $75? Can't remember, because it was like 7 years ago!! And they run fantastic!
Summary: we had previously had Bose speakers to use with our main computer. However, after a bad storm zapped them, we looked for a less expensive set for replacements. We have been very pleased with the sound quality of these speakers as well as ease of set up and use. If we can do it, anybody can!
Summary: For the money the Z10 is hopeless, you get sucked in with the weight and looks, if you use a device direct other than a lap top it will blow them up and they are sealed making them very difficult to fix, there are a lot of other Logitech speaker that far out preformed the Z10, I've replaced them with a second hand set of Z523's and security were there within the hour.
Summary: I first purchased a set of the Z10 speakers when they first came out several years ago, and they have remained my main speaker set ever since. They have a remarkable sound for only two speakers! Deep rich, and balanced sound that can be changed by touching a LED on one speaker, as can the volume.
Summary: First off, I think the sound on these speakers is amazing. Too bad they're complete crap in every other way. The cool display on the front panel? Unusable. The track-list display crashes on me once a day. It's to the point now where I've just disabled it altogether. So now it just shows the clock. Cool. I already have a clock on my desktop, so that's a useless feature. The e-mail notification also doesn't work, so the entire front display is completely useless.
Summary: The sound quality is great, more than I expected from PC speakers and the price I paid for. If I am being picky, I would like clearer instructions on channel setup, which speaker on which side. Also, it would be a nice-to-have feature in the control software to configure speakers for 2 channels.
Summary: I bought these used. They worked for about a day in total, then one just quit. Needs new capacitors. I think they use poor electronics. Don't get me wrong - they sound fantastic when they are working. They are just badly made. I will repair my set myself - pointless having Logitech fit the same trashy components back in them again. Recommended if you are happy to use a soldering iron.
Summary: I have 3 sets of these speakers. They have great sound and I use one set in my home office in lieu of the TV speakers. The major problem is that the 'volume control' goes bad. Have the problem on 2 sets but luckily they are 'stopped' at a level that I can live with.
