Summary: These speakers have been with me FOREVERRRRRR and I never once regretted the purchase. Thank you Logitech.
Pros: I've gotten more amazing mileage out of this 5.1 setup than I ever could have hoped for. I've really just taken it for granted for years, so I thought I'd come express appreciation now. For a 70W economy system, they put out plenty awesome sound for one guy sitting in a computer chair.
Cons: I... can't think of any. Not at this price point. Ok, subwoofer is small enough that it loses clarity and gets a little muddy when you crank it too high. But if you keep it at reasonable levels it's all peachy.
Summary: Some years ago, I used to get issues with having all the speakers channels produce the right volume of music, progressing to none at all. Sometiems shaking the wire would work, or playing with the inputs going to the tower or in the woofer itself.
Pros: Its an excellent speaker system that has delivered wonderful, room filling sound, and great 5.1 for games for years. I used to use it in conjunction wtih 5.1 headphones, using splitters so I dont have to change inputs. See Other THoughts
Cons: Some issues when splitting the output lines, see other thoughts.
Summary: It would be nice to have some software that can not allow the sound to go louder than the speakers can output safely. Of course an option to turn it off if you want it that loud.
Pros: First off, I got these on sale for $40ish bucks. Can you believe that? 5.1 surround sound 8 years ago for $40ish bucks. Thank YHWH for newegg. Now...great sound. Very loud (works great with a good sound card too and onboard). Bass is deep and no rattle. Cords are very long so you can setup surrou...
Cons: They are corded, which can make surround setups in a room unpleasant with cords running around the entire room. The speakers can output more than it can handle after a year of a lot of use some speakers begin to rattle a tad, not that bad, but if you focus you can notice it. That is due to playin...
Summary: I bought these for only $59.99. Normally these speakers are around $150-200$. They absolutely sound like expensive speakers. The sub woofer is powerful, and gives good backbone to the sound. Works very well for movie explosions and bass in music.
Great crisp sound for gaming, music, and theater/movie watching.

Summary: I spent hours researching different speaker systems and these came out on top. I have a lot of experience with speakers because I am a DJ. I own/have owned the whole gambit from powered KRK Rokit speakers to old JBL Towers made in the late 80's, so I am very particular when it comes to my speakers.
Summary: Good unit but there is and internal fuse that will cause it to stop working when you push it to its limits. Like turning the bass all the way up. It seems the the fuse is blown by thermal as well as current overload. It makes sence to provide proper ventilation to the box.
Summary: When I first got these I thought cheap. They were really light and the speakers were small. I was wrong !!! These speakers shake my house. I had to turn the woofer way down so I wouldn't upset the neighbors. With a good sound card (have them hooked to my computer) they rock.
