Summary: i bought these speakers because i was having a party while my mom was out of town. i was tired of using the TV speakers and needed more of a bang! and boy do these deliver!! Likes: --Excellent sound --nice design --very affordable Dislikes: --Lack of optical audio --uses ONLY 6-channel direct analog, no digital whatsoever. --WIRES WIRES WIRES! Bottom line: for the price, this is a GREAT set of speakers that deliver crisp sound and is great for gaming/house parties, etc.
Speakers are a B+, but worth the buy for the price.

Summary: I purchased the speakers for my home office. Used for music and/or movie sound. The speakers provide a nice sound with average volume. I feel that the volume should be able to produce a much high level of sound than it does (better than average, but NOT great). Make sure your computer supports 5.1 or higher surround sound connections or you will NOT get the quality you expect from these speakers.
Summary: Sound quality is unique and clear. I love the bass in the system. It makes my dorm room sound better then any other on my floor. Hip-Hop/Rap sounds great through the speakers just like Country and Soft Rock. Highly recommended for someone who is looking for a great set of speakers at a low price.
Summary: These speakers are not stereo monitors but they are very good desktop speakers for playing music, games and the occasional movie. You're not going to hear orchestral sound you have never heard before on your prize CDs or mp3s; but if you play hip-hop, pop or rock there aren't any undiscovered sounds anyway and these guys might just blow you away considering their price point.
Summary: i love the sound this puts out. this is my first 5.1 surround sound for a pc. 1 thing i dont like is that when my wife turns on the Laptop when she gets home, i get interfiernce from the laptop on the surround sound for some unknown reason.
Nice system for small office or casual gamer/DVD watcher

Summary: This is not a base pounding, blast your ears off speaker system. I paid $50 (delivered) and got a lot of system for my money. The setup was straight forward, with color coded inputs and speaker line ins to the subwoofer box. The sound isn't deep and rich and the power doesn't match the higher-end, more expensive speaker systems or the spacial complexity 7.1 systems. However, for my small office and casual DVD watching and game playing, it fits the $50 bill.
Summary: I am very pleased with my surround sound and the subwoofer speaker. When it arrived it was a breeze to hook-up, but there was one cable cord missing. The one missing is the one to plug into the back of your t.v., or personal computer that has the one male plug to go into the speaker female connection on the back of the tower, which has the two female plugs at the other end to connect into the small black relay where the speakers join together.
