Summary: The design is great and the controls are easy to use. The other reviews stated this unit has bass and treble with little middle, and they were correct, but for music with vocals it will do fine.
Summary: I bought these speakers for two reasons: They were cheap and other reviewers said they didn't get interference from cell phones. All I can say is mission accomplished. I've had these running for almost a week now and despite intentionally leaving my cell phone near them I haven't heard a peep.
Summary: The speakers and subwooofer are great and perform a bit better than expected for me, 2.1 is good enough for most people, its a very good price too. 5 speakers and a subwoofer is only necessary for home theaters, and the price to value ratio is as much as what u get here.
Summary: These were replacement speakers for an ancient pair of Gateway speakers at my desk. They sound good and look good as well. The speaker wires are not your standard +/-, so don't damage them or you'll be up a creek...
Summary: Have listened to a lot of computer speaker systems over the years. Sure 5.1 gives better surround sound, but who has that kind of room? The bass is rich without being muddy and the speakers produce a full treble and mid-range without sounding tinny.
Summary: I purchased these after reading so many reviews - and I wanted a front headphone jack for my Sennheiser PX 100's. My very researched observations: (1)Presentation and build quality are excellent; (2)Sound quality is not; it's very good, but not excellent.
Summary: For the price I got it for it was excellent value, though the retail is a bit excessive in my opinion. The sound is a huge upgrade over cheapo 2.0 speakers that you get for free with your computer, but does not even approach higher end speakers.
