Right Speaker goes in and out

Rachel, Amazon
19 January 2007
  • Summary: I had this speaker for sometime and it performed well. With the volume up considerably the sound quality begins to fade. after a year the speaker with volume control (right) started to fade in and out. then it stopped altogether. Disappointing but I promptly bought another logitech speaker system. Logitech=quality.

Great speakers for the money

Rachel, Amazon
18 September 2006
  • Summary: I got these speakers refurbished off of ebay for $24.95 with free shipping. I am very impressed with these speakers. I am running the frequency at 50 and it is working great. The highs are as good as the lows with minimal distortion when played at highest levels. Overall it is a great investment. The only con is that the sub volume is on the back of the sub so it is difficult to reach.

These are great for the value and what they are.

Bob Jahugavoy "Bob", Amazon
9 March 2006
  • Summary: The speakers are only 30 - 40 and they put out a nice smooth deep bass that is great for a laptop gamer or someone looking for a small system better than the rest. This is it.

Decent for the price

From Detroit, Amazon
17 April 2005
  • Summary: I picked these up for about $20, and they're very much worth that (and maybe a bit more). The bass is nice and deep, but the mids are thin and the highs could be a bit clearer. If you're broke and are using these for gaming or MP3's, they'd be pretty good so long as you're not too picky with sound. They cost a bit more, but the Logitech Z-3 series gets much fuller sound.

Hearing is in the ear of the beholder

  • Summary: We are a frugal bunch and when I saw these speakers on the clearance rack for under $30, I grabbed them and it turns out the actual price was under $20! We needed some decent speakers for our recently purchased used Apple G4, and so I thought these might help bridge the time till be could afford something good. Well, we won't be parting with our Logitech X-220s anytime soon. I was quite surprised by the clarity and depth the two small speakers provide.

great buy.. what's wrong with the sub?

Wladek, Amazon
8 January 2005
  • Summary: I don't know about some of the reviewers in here.. but why buy a subwoofer powered system if you're scared of a little bass? Yeesh.. Despite what the faint of heart say the bass is not _that_ overpowering and compliments the satellites quite nicely. This is one of the best deals ive had with average consumer audio equipment. How can you go wrong for 30$?

Flawed; defective

dasein4 "dasein4", Amazon
11 November 2004
  • Summary: I bought this based on reviews. The first one came dead on arrival. Amazon took it back no problem. I have the second one now and the left speaker goes in and out. I'm too lazy to send it back. Besides, I threw away the original packaging.
