Summary: Basically broken. Maybe I just got a lemon because I've always found Logitech's products to be fairly high quality, but these are the worst speakers ever. Broke after 2 months. Consider other options.
Pros: Looks nice, sound great when they work properly.
Cons: Bought these in February as I've always found Logitech to be a trusted brand. This is their first thing I've bought that I can't recommend at all. Firstly, mine came with the speaker wires completely exposed on the right side, with the wire covering about an inch back from the base of the back of...
Summary: As the title states, the speakers were defective upon arrival. They were tested on multiple outlets to be sure that it wasn't a power issue, and the product will be returned shortly. The review may be updated depending on how the product will behave once I get a replacement.
Summary: They could have at least picked a better station.
Pros: Simple to set up. Better sound than the cheapest speakers.
Cons: After setting up these speakers, I noted that their noise floor was unfortunately quite audible, but I also thought for a while that I was hallucinating music coming from somewhere. Nope. It turns out that the entire time these speakers are on, they play a local radio station, distorted, at a low...
Summary: Unacceptable quality from Logitech. Maybe I was unlucky with a defective product.
Pros: Nice look to them, volume and tone knobs, headphone jack. Good size, not too large.
Cons: Very disappointed in the sound quality. I have to keep the volume very low and the tone very low to avoid a horrible bass distortion/buzz. It sounds like the sub-woofers are torn but there's no visible tears.
Summary: I don't have "golden ears", so I can't guess where the low-frequency output cuts off, but it's a surprisingly high floor. For comparison: I own Logitech Z-5 speakers with just the juice they can pull off a USB 2 port--very little--and of course whatever's left over after the onboard USB audio takes...
