Disappointed in a company that I had always been pleased with in the past!

Summary: I bought these for my laptop after reading some reviews here that said they were great for their small size and the carrying case was a plus. I plugged these into my computer and they worked for all of five minutes. I went to the Logitech site discussion/support and I wish I had gone their first because I found more people with problems that I did here. This is my first purchase from Amazon too and I wish that the "not so good" reviews had been evident too.
Summary: I have had these speakers for over 1 yr and yes they still work, BUT they are not appropriate for listening to any music via computer. There is a lot of noise and distortion on music. Better to go with something else than this. If you are just watching videos or need the speakers for the computer for YouTube you would probably be fine. But for music, not really.
Summary: I bought two of these. Before they both broke -- each within 6 months of the purchase date -- they suffered from similar problems. The speakers would disconnect from Windows (Vista & Win7), and you'd have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, sometimes several times, to get the audio back.
Summary: I bought my first set of speakers at Amazon. They worked great for a day, but then suddenly stopped producing any sounds. I scanned the Internet and the Logitech support forums and found many users complaining about the same problem. Neither recommendation I tried helped, so I contacted Logitech, which sent me another set of speakers (it was really nice of them).
Summary: After reading many of the reviews on amazon i decided it would be worth it to pick up a pair of what i thought sounded like some decent speakers to project the sound a bit more from the Realtek Hidef speakers built into my toshiba satellite. well after recieving the prduct set up was simple, plug it in, but i noticed i have power, and no sound, after trouble shooting and checking/unchecking just about every option for audio playback i looked around the forums on the...
Summary: Well they sounded great...for the 10 minutes that they worked. The sound cut out mid-song playback. Several hours of web surfing later, I see this is a problem that many users have had. My system successfully detects the speakers, the power is functional, the drivers are loaded, the sound routes to the speakers, and according to windows hardware testing playback is functional. However, sound is no longer coming out of the speakers.
