... for my Acer C720 chromebook and it fits just fine. One problem

Summary: Bought this for my Acer C720 chromebook and it fits just fine. One problem, only one speaker works on the desk. It is not the lapdesk at fault, it is the operating system of this computer. It will not work but I am keeping it anyway bacause I needed a desk, and even with only one speaker it sounds pretty darn good. Better than the computer speakers. The price of this desk was not any more than a desk without speakers. Its a Keeper!
Summary: Bought this when the sound card went out on my ThinkPad. The overall sound is good, much better than the laptop speakers. It has a padded cloth backing to use it on your lap. I just use my laptop on a table. The cloth backing makes moving or swiveling the laptop on the table easy. It is not very wide (14 inch wide screen is the limit on it. Has volume and mute controls on the right side. Good sound for the price.
Speakers were a better quality than expected...but the unit stopped working sooner than expected.

Summary: I purchased this Lapdesk for my apple laptop (with it's pitiful audio output) and it actually works surprisingly well. The mesh bottom allows your legs to breath so that you aren't dealing with the discomfort of having a hot computer on your lap for two hours while you watch a movie. The volume get's loud enough to use as a speaker system for a small party (for those who don't keep all there music on their phone) and is more than adequate for watching a movie.
Summary: great product! in this $20 product the sound quality is better than my high end $1269 laptop(and many other high end laptops). Would be the candidate for 5 stars if they put an external 3.5 m.m audio jack to play music from external device, and some extra soft cushion padding at the bottom will do no harm. Anyways highly recommended!
Summary: My wife is an official "short chick" at 4'11". This keeps the edge of the laptop from digging into her knees. The speakers are way better than the built-in ones on her laptop. Not quite as nice as the ones in my Logitech N700 (which sadly, they don't make any more) but a major step up. One problem is that her laptop doesn't sleep if this is plugged in to the USB. I'm researching the issue but I haven't seen any obvious causes or solutions.
Summary: I got this Lapdesk to use while watching movies in bed with my 13" Macbook Pro. The size is great, and the speakers are much better than I had expected for a $20 usb-powered devise. They are reasonably loud - at least twice as loud as the macbook speakers - and have decent sound quality, if only a little bass heavy. The padding on the underside makes resting the laptop on your lap a bit more comfortable, although I was hoping it to be a little softer.
