Pros: When I bought these they cost $30, and I got $30 speakers. They let me listen to music, etc. without headphones, and they haven't disintegrated yet.
Cons: The audio quality is nothing special. Also, the microphone jack on the external volume control doesn't have a corresponding speaker jack, so if you usually wear a non-usb headset, you're going to have to keep plugging it in in the back when you switch.
Summary: This is a nice buy, however not a very good purchase since it didn't last at least a year. I would recommend probably getting one of these for the meantime if you need a small pair of speakers with a sub for an affordable price or if you using this in a small room.
Pros: Price, reasonable and contains a sub, not for the heaviest of bass tones but it can do some good if you aren't in a large room.
Cons: I purchased this back in june 2014 and on october 3rd of the same year the left speaker doesn't work as good anymore, it makes a crunch sound as if the speaker might of blown and I never have the volume any higher 30% of what the volume control has. now I have to max it out for it to at least be ...
Summary: If all you are looking for are some cheap speakers, which i was, i would go with a simple 2 speaker setup. The sub on this is fairly awful. You will be better off not having it. Otherwise, they are speakers, they make noise, and they are cheap.
Pros: Inexpensive, cool styling, easy to setup, external control module, external headphone jack
Summary: I bought these speakers to use with my mp3 out in the garage. For the price they sound great and hook up was simple and straight forward. The only problem with them is the lack of volume. I have to turn my player and the speakers all the way up which is why I gave it three out of five stars.
As long as you don't want/need good bass these are decent speakers.

Summary: Disappointed because my previous inexpensive Logitech had great bass.
Pros: Good sound other than bass, see below, cables are long enough and the speakers look good. As long as you don't want/need good bass these are decent speakers. I don't show up as a verified owner because a friend bought them for me.
Cons: The bass is distorted whether I have the subwoofer on the wooden floor or put a couple of fat hardbacks under it to reduce distortion a tiny bit. My setup is 100% max output from the computer which means I can keep the speaker volume as low as possible, same with the cable box.
Excerpt: I bought this as my old PC speaker system died after 9 years of continuous use. I bought the Logitech as I am familiar with the brand and comfortable with it. The unit is easily 1/4 the size of my old one and I had a bit of a shock when I realized I had lost most of the base I loved.
Excerpt: I was expecting a more powerful sound from this system; however it was a disappointing. Even with the subwoofer. I was unable to just use the speaker separate from the subwoofer. I plan to return it.
