Summary: I would say that they are just right as quality for the size and the purpose. They could hardly handle bass, but for average purpose are just fine. They are lightweight and can be transported easily. They have also stereo plug-in for external device, so you could listen to your mp3 device with male-to-male stereo jack. They are really nice.
Summary: You can't expect much at this price point. These speakers are cheap, stylish and sound "meh". Good: Build quality seems pretty good, although they are pretty light. My cat has no problem knocking these over. Cheap. Bad: They sound pretty bad. Better than built in laptop or monitor speakers, but not by much.
Summary: not bad quality for the price..mine are still going pretty good after a year and some..there is a short in one of the wires now but that could be from me constantly packing them up to travel somewhere
Great budget speakers for a SMALL room, as they do not have very much power
28 October 2012
Summary: Great budget speakers for a SMALL room, as they do not have very much power. Sounds great at medium volumes. For the price, these are workable. If you looking for sound quality or a heavy bass, look elsewhere.
Summary: These little speakers are great for any setup, I don't understand what people were talking about, that they weren't great for music. I guess they were trying to use them for a house party or something, can't expect them to radiate sound through the neighborhood for less than $20. I use them for gaming, music and movies. I can hear them down the hall of my room fine and I never had a problem with distortion.
Summary: Good speakers for the price -- you'd have to go up to $60-70 to get noticeably better sound. They're better for movies and music than most laptop speakers, have a handy volume control dial, and the headphone jack on the front is a lot more conveniently placed than the jacks on my desktop PC. A good pair to have in a pinch or while you're saving for a full-surround system.
