Summary: I bought this a time a go.... and I can say I was robbed. My father has one of this and they sound nice (he bought them on a store), but the one's I got didn't last 3 days. I got them, and 2 days later I opened them to make the proper test's, and #FAIL. the 2 surround speakers didn't worked AT ALL, and the center one sounded strange. The product is really good (if you make a good research and buy a good one), but I was not pleased with what I got from here.
Works great for me. Good for listening music, gaming, watching movies.

Summary: Great system for the money. It sounds good, in an average size living room (that's how is mine). I use it on my laptop which doesn't have a 5.1 audio card, once it has a matrix mode it splits the low and the high frequencies, giving you a sensation of having a 5.1
Summary: I got these in December 2008. I move around 2-4 times a year as a college student, and these are still running great. The headset/volume dock is amazing and one of the main reasons for the purchase. Playing games a lot and switching my headset in and our in a dorm setting was more annoying than ever, so the dock made it very convenient. The volume control feels very smooth. and being able to adjust each speaker allows for very good sound control.
Summary: The product is recommended for normal music listening and not for games! I had to return it since it started giving static noises after I started playing it :( I really had for a better quality sub but for the price it was okay product.
Summary: I am a previous owner of the X-540's but wasnt so satisfied with the sound quality, althought they are excellent but i knew there had to be something out there that was better, so i gave them to my younger brother and decided to upgrade to these speakers. SO far the Build quality is excellent, and the sound quality is excellent.
Summary: Great speakers for the price. If you're looking for a system that will easily fill your living room with high quality music for under $100, this is the system to get! The matrix panel included automatically divides the song's frequencies into highs mids and lows and distributes them to the speakers they need to go to - great feature. Great for college students or gamers.
