Logitech AudioHub review

12 November 2008
  • Summary: It's too big to carry around with your on trips, but if you often use your laptop at your desk, the Logitech AudioHub can enhance your experience when watching videos or listening to music without taking up a lot of desktop space. If you're nitpicky about sound quality, you can probably find better sounding speakers at a competitive price.

  • Excerpt: The AudioHub is a three-piece speaker system with two satellites - one on each side - and a subwoofer in the middle of the unit. The subwoofer features a 3” driver and each of the side speakers houses a 2” driver. Power is supplied by the included AC adapter, and the only connection option is through a USB port on the right side of the unit.
  • Pros: Well thought-out design, simple setup and installation, nice sound at low and moderate volume levels.
  • Cons: No 3.5mm headphone jack, timid bass response, not easily portable.

Logitech AudioHub Notebook Speaker System

Hardware Pacers
30 June 2008
  • Summary: The AudioHub is a great speaker system for the laptop user. Great for parties or converting your laptop into a cool sounding stereo system. Smooth crisp sound at any volume is a definite plus, but hardware-pacers staff was a little disappointed with the absence of an analog input jack. Nice features such as adjustable size and webcam stand make this system a steal at under $60.00 . Overall, the Logitech AudioHub Notebook Speaker System is a great buy.
  • Pros: Outstanding Sound, Easy install and operation, Adjustable size
  • Cons: No Analog Audio Input

Design and Features This integrated, one piece 2.1 speaker package is a brilliantly designed 'soundbar'.

Logitech AudioHub Review

20 September 2007
  • Conclusion: The Audiohub won’t blow you away with home theater-like sound or earth-shaking bass, but it offers surprisingly good audio given its diminutive size. The USB hub is a welcome addition too, and we also like the effortless installation and controls. We’ve come to expect as much from Logitech, and the Audiohub does not disappoint.
  • Pros: Decent sound quality; doubles as a USB hub; easy setup
  • Cons: Expensive; not exceedingly powerful

Logitech AudioHub speakers review

Pocket Lint
23 May 2008
  • Conclusion: While performance doesn't match the recently reviewed Creative T10 or T20 models, you do get a neat and tidy offering with the added benefit of a powered USB hub thrown in for good measure. The only grumble we can see with this device is that if your laptop has connections out of the back rather than the sides it may not sit flush with your laptop therefore partly defeating the object.
  • Pros: Compact unit, good sound
  • Cons: Cable not long enough, won't fit 17-inch laptop models
