  • Summary: I spent an afternoon listening to one of these and a b&w zeppelin air...the sound quality from this unit is just dire if you comapre to the Zeppelin. Anyone thinking of buying one, listen to both side by side. In fat go in John Lewis, who stock both and judge for yourself.
  • Pros: Nice design
  • Cons: Rubbish sound

  • Summary: Exceptionally intelligent and simple design. We now use this for music, dab radio, tv and video sound for the entire family - iPod, iPad, Macbook, iMac, TV. Because there is no single dock station (or cables for that matter) you can amplify anything. The Libratone simply recognizes whatever device is playing and starts piping the sound, no cables, no interface to navigate, nothing.
  • Pros: Blissfully simple, versatile, only speaker you will need
  • Cons: Pricey, but ultimately saves you buying home theatre, cables, attachments, etc
