Good, but not perfect.

Summary: I'd like to start by asking why some of you have given this system bad reviews because you couldn't hook your computer or whatever up correctly. Don't punish the product because of a lack of research on your part! Download the manual or read the product description - it clearly states that "The control module features a standard analog stereo audio input and two digital audio inputs--one coaxial and one Toslink optical.
Summary: I got this on special from Amazon ($99 +free shipping), which is the only reason I purchased it. Klipsch is, I think, a little crazy in their expectation that this system is worth $299. Why do I think this? Well, in terms of bang for the buck, this system falls short - especially when you consider that unless you have a digital source this is essentially a 2.1 system. In the 2.1 realm, you can find many systems with higher per channel wattage than this for far less cost.
Summary: I just received my speakers yesterday. The setup was very simple and they really sound good. I didn't realize that my xbox was going to require an a/v adapter to use the speakers so I haven't gotten it set up yet, but just plugging my ipod in was simple and sweet. Obviously there are a lot of wires involved in a setup with 5 speakers and a subwoofer, but that's no big deal for me, they were easy to hide.
Summary: Just got these in the mail today, hooked them up to my Media Center HP PC with the Digital Coax cable... and OMG!! These sound Awesome! I listened first to some classic AC/DC 'Back in Black' and that SG sounds perfect. I then turned on Boston's 'More than a feeling' and Tom Scholtz and his Les Paul never sounded so clean and crisp. Then listened to The Eagles 'Wasted Time' and all you can hear is pure music... no hiss just Don Henley, piano...
Summary: This is a great surround sound setup for a console system or a computer, if you do your research beforehand. While it is not true, as some other reviews state, that you must have a specific motherboard for true 5.1 speaker surround sound on your computer, this system lacks analog inputs for each speaker, which is the primary method that computers use to connect to a 5.1 system.
Summary: First of all, these are the best speakers out on the market. I don't care what anyone else says about them, they kick a** and take names. They not only sound amazing, but they are relatively easy to set up, at least they were on my Mac. The one and only setback, was their lack of a good headphone jack. I really, really need one, but they seem to lack it. Not a big problem, but a minor thing that might have helped me like this set-up more. 4 1/2 stars overall.
Summary: I'm not sure what the bad reviews are all about. I bought this for my sister and decided to try it out before I gave it to her. Right now they're setup in my living room and I don't want to give them up. I don't have home theatre because my room is too small for a "real" home theatre system, but this system was awesome. The reviews that say it won't play deep bass aren't accurate.
Summary: My primary home theater speakers (LF, C, LR and SW) are all Klipsch products. They performed so well, I went nuts when I heard the GMX D-5.1 DCS. I may not have the ear of an audiophile, but I can hear the difference between the accurate sound reproduction of the GMX D-5.1 DCS and do-do. Their digital reproduction is great. Connection to my SB Audigy was a trip when I used the digital signal outputs with an analog source! Turn it down!!!
Good for games, not a substitute for real home theater.

Summary: Had the system for a week now. For a gaming system it sounds pretty good, but for music and DVD soundtracks it doesn't bowl me over. Can't say why, it just is not as impressive as I would expect. Lack of dynamic response and low frequency reproduction are to blame. One of the reasons could be the subwoofer. The sub will not play very low notes. Here is a test you can try on your system to confirm.
