Summary: We use these speakers at my work. The volume control works just fine. It works best to hold your finger flat down on the speaker instead of tapping. The sound is crisp and clear. Wanting to buy these for personal use now.
Summary: It's a shame these things are so hard to find now, because they easily rank among the finest speakers JBL has ever produced. Crisp, clear highs, smooth mids and surprisingly robust bass is all wrapped up in a completely unique design that's as pleasing to the eyes as the audio is to the ears.
Summary: I have these speakers in teal, and they look excellent. It's a very fresh and breezy color. The design was important to me because I mainly keep them in my bedroom hooked up to my iPod, as I don't like bringing my laptop in there.
Summary: I got the JBL spyro speakers because they were in special offer, some 20% less that the JBL Spot. Same power, different design. I didn't mind that much about the design. First impressions. When I opened the box, the settings were very easy to follow, being sure to plug the cables correctly.
Summary: first, let me address the issue of volume control that's mentioned in virtually every other review: it is initially tricky to adjust the volume level because of the non-mechanical, "touch sensitive" controls on the right speaker.
Summary: I agree with other reviewers that the volume control is tricky. But it does indeed work; you just have to understand how to control the volume, which is not at all intuitive. It seems to be some sort of touch feel, so no there is no feedback whether or not you are successfully changing the volume -...
Summary: They look great and the sound tremendous. Touch volume is easy to control. Design is chic; well done. I get compliments from my friends and I was happy that they arrived so fast to begin receiving the compliments.
