JBL Pebbles review

21 August 2014
  • Conclusion: You can find more elaborate computer speaker systems, complete with subwoofer, for the same price you’ll pay for the JBL Pebbles. However, you’ll be hard pressed to find a speaker system that can play as loud and as clean as the Pebbles do for $60. Add in the fact that there’s rarely a need to worry about a power outlet, and that they are portable enough to go where you go, and the Pebbles are a big winner.
  • Pros: Remarkably big sound from a small speaker, Portable, USB-powered, Clever cable management
  • Cons: Short connection cables, No USB wall adapter included

JBL Pebbles Review

3 March 2014
  • Summary: If your laptop or your phone is your single source for listening to music and you aren't looking for full-fledged 2.1 or 5.1 speakers, then the Pebbles is definitely worth considering. Just keep the short length of its cables, and the fact that it is powered through USB, in mind.
  • Pros: Unique looks, High volume output, Suitable for bass heavy tracks, Very easy to set up, USB powered
  • Cons: Expensive, Not so great with mids and highs, Short cables

Review: JBL Pebbles: afgemeten in design

16 November 2013
