Needs 2 different cables for power & audio.
22 October 2014
Summary: This speaker does not source power & sound input from the same USB cable. You would need 2 different cables - micro USB for power and an audio cable from the audio source. Also, when I keep it connected to the power source and also to my audio source, it automatically turns off after some time which is really annoying. I could not figure out a way to keep it ON all the time.
Excerpt: Bought this for my son for Xmas. It worked great for about 6 months then the sound went out. Took it back to radio shack but since I failed to get the extra warrenty they didnt do anything about it. Couldnt even tell me how to get it fixed.
Summary: After looking at reviews for various Bluetooth portable speakers under $60, I decided to go with the JBL Micro, partially because I had good results from JBL speakers in the past. After receiving the Micro 3 days ago, I set it up... easy! It paired right away. The sound did not disappoint. Very nice. The look and feel of the Micro is nice, easy to port and easy to adjust the volume. It even feels nice in the hand! One day later, it lost it's connection.
