JBL Micro Wireless Review

thinkdigit.com
24 February 2013
  • Summary: Micro Wireless speaker makes a lot of sense, priced just a tad higher than the Micro II. You get the additional Bluetooth connectivity with your iPod or the phone. Pristine audio quality, as far as vocal clarity and disturbance free audio is concerned. No other speaker can replicate this, in this price bracket.

Review: JBL Micro Wireless is an impressive portable Bluetooth speaker for the price

Macworld
21 December 2012
  • Conclusion: The Micro Wireless is impressive: It offers a whole lot of sound packed into a tiny, attractive package—and the price is pretty amazing, too. Between its Bluetooth and auxiliary-input options, extreme portability, and more-than-adequate audio, it’s an attractive option for budget-conscious customers. Lex uses a MacBook Pro, an iPhone 5, an iPad mini, a Kindle 3, a TiVo HD, and a treadmill desk, and loves them all.
  • Pros: Extremely portable, Excellent sound for the size and price, Integrated auxiliary input cable
  • Cons: Limited bass performance

JBL Micro Wireless plays big for its size

CNET
26 October 2012
  • Summary: An attractive form factor and a good feature set give the JBL Micro Wireless a leg up in the tiny wireless speaker competition.
  • Pros: The JBL Micro Wireless Bluetooth speaker is a compact, hockey-puck-size speaker that has a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery and offers good sound for its size. It also has an integrated line-in cable that stows away in the bottom of the device.
  • Cons: Doesn't handle big bass well and distorts at higher volumes.
