Features

The JBL Creature III is a three piece speaker designed with a futuristic sci-fi look. The speakers sport an airy feel and soft-touch tactile controls so users can adjust volume or mute the speakers with a touch; the system also remembers volume settings from when it was last used. The Creature III system features Harman’s Odyssey transducer technology with optimized bass response and midrange. Built with old-school analog technology, the speakers accept a 3.5mm stereo mini input and does not support USB or S/PDIF. The Creature IIIs is compatible with computers, stereos, portable media players, televisions, and other compatible gear. The two satellite speakers is said to feature 1 5/8-inch drivers that can run at 5 watts and the “subwoofer” uses a 3-inch driver—but Harman says the system handles everything from 50Hz to 20kHz. The Creature III is available at a suggested retail price of $129,99.
