Summary: These are great. I have really enjoyed them. I have them on a Pioneer elite sc 71 receiver 7.1. I mounted them on wall mounts. Didn't trust the hooks in the back plus this gives it a better look. And I got then for a steel the week of thanksgiving. You won't be disappointed. And I didn't realize how large the actual speaker is. I have all infinity and they all sound great. The only thing is I went with the polk 12" sub woofer. That thing is a beast.
Summary: They come in a box saying loud speaker etc. on all sides, and even a large pix of the speaker.Might be a problem left at your door. Otherwise well packed. knock test had me scratching my head.Good in some areas, not the rest. I looked thru the port to find fill on one side all the way down. But then only 3/4 of the way down on other side. The other speaker was slightly diff but still lacking. I hooked them up as fronts and sound good on most music .
One defective speaker after thirteen perfect examples!

Summary: I was bound to get a defective one... eventually! I have bought four each P143's and P163's as well as five P363's - all arrived in perfect order - and work great. I ordered one P153 when they were 'sale priced' ($45 Prime!) last June. It shipped overnite yesterday, arriving this afternoon. It has a 7/2014 build date - and the box looked fine, as did the speaker.
Summary: I'm not sure why people like these speakers so much. While the do have a very clean clear sound, it comes off as much much MUCH too bright for may taste. They have no real presence like they've cut out everything in the lower mid range. I like to keep my eq settings flat, and just can't do it with these speakers. Even with a sub. They really sound like a cabinet half the size. I think a Bose cube may hit lower frequencies... They look alright.
Summary: As I have reviewed in the JBL ES20 speakers which I bought before this speakers as I have said I always thought that American speakers are not as refine as British speakers but after I have the JBL ES20, I decided to own another great American Brand speakers and this is it, every speakers I own the sound is different, but I never regret owning this pair of speakers
Summary: Pros: I found the sound clean and accurate without the artificial bass & treble boost found in a lot of speakers in this price range ($70 each). Make sure the tweeters are at ear height, keep them at least 2' from any wall, and toe them in for the best results. For most music, I run them as LR channels and full range. For HT, I run them as LCR channels in a 3.1 setup, with all crossovers set to 80 Hz. The sound is very good for the money in both configurations.
Summary: Was deciding between these or Polk R and TSX series. Since I already own TSi 100, I chose the Infinity based on reviews, reputation, and music preference. I switched the TSi to rear surrounds on my 5.1 system. The Infinity 153 have an airy, brighter sound without the excessive bottom of the Polks...[partly due to removing them from the corner wall.] So far ,I rate the Infinity as an excellent buy- and performance equal to any speaker in this class. Highly recommended.
