Summary: Was deciding between these or Polk R and TSX series. Since I already own TSi 100, I chose the Infinity based on reviews, reputation, and music preference. I switched the TSi to rear surrounds on my 5.1 system. The Infinity 153 have an airy, brighter sound without the excessive bottom of the Polks...[partly due to removing them from the corner wall.] So far ,I rate the Infinity as an excellent buy- and performance equal to any speaker in this class. Highly recommended.
Summary: I originally had the alpha product line and was worried about the primus being somewhat substandard. I now have no doubt about it once hooking these up that they are just as awesome of a speaker as the alphas.
Summary: These are fantastic for the occasional audiophile and casual movie watcher. If you listen to them side by side with really expensive speakers, you'll hear some difference, however matched with the rest of the Primus line and a nice surround amp, they are fantastic for what they cost. I'd get them now.
Summary: excellent speaker. i am using them for surround speakers with the infinity beta speakers which are not sold anymore;( i think i got them for about 60 bucks shipped ea. .... you really can't beat the bang for buck at this price..
Summary: Length:: 6:01 Mins I won't get into specs etc, but I am using these as my right and left channels in my home theater. I bought them to jump from 5.1 to 7.1 surround sound. I have them paired with 4 polk OWM3 speakers and a Polk Center Channel (I forget the model) and an Onkyo Receiver and I am happy to report that they have excellent sound quality and I am more than happy with them.
Summary: My Boston Acoustic A40 bookshelf speakers had finally disintegrated and I needed to replace them. First I tried a pair of Polk speakers but had to return them: the sound was thin and irritating. After doing some more research I ordered the Infinity Primus P153 speakers from Amazon. They are great: the sound is full and rich and enjoyable. I strongly recommend these speakers.
Summary: I bought these to be the front Left and Right speakers in my 7.1 home theater. I consider myself a bit of an audiophile, but I also build my systems on a budget with an emphasis on value. These are slightly bigger than I expected (not a bad thing), and they work great. Not sure you can do much better for the price. You can buy these with confidence, but obviously you will want a sub-woofer with them as they can't handle low end bass.
Summary: your advertising is missleading because I thought I was buying two speakers and not one, most of the time when a person listens to a stereo, it takes two speakers and not one, this is just another way to more people to be caught in your scam.
