Good sound from small and reasonably priced speakers
9 February 2013
Summary: These are small but adequate speakers, sound is decent for the price. I bought them because my old speakers were distorted. I would prefer a AC plug-in to USB since I have fewer USB ports available.
Summary: The product was as advertized. I brought the product for mp3 speakers in a shed. I should have went up in price. The speakers were very inexpensive so the quality reflected this. I try to save too much money. The speakers are good if I'm in the shed but do not have the power to be heard outside.
Summary: The PC speakers by iMicro are a good inexpensive product that performs well. It's shortcoming is that all the wires and the power cable are too short! This means that you can't separate the speakers much more than to place one on each side of your monitor and the power outlet had better be on the floor right under the speakers. It's a shame I can't give them a higher rating, but the short cables reduce their utility.
Summary: The product was good. I like the ac powered speakers better than USB powered because they will not put a drain on the battery. These speakers are clear and very lightweight. For the price they serve a basic purpose for me.
Summary: Reading the listing for this item, I was impressed. The speakers claim a good amount of power and super frequency response. There are micro speakers, i.e. Bose, Altec, Polk, that are indeed so small but sound big. These speakers are not in that class. They are truely tinney sounding junk. I have NEVER heard such a thin sounding speaker. First, lets talk power. The listing claims 180 watts. Uh Huh. No way, no how.
