Summary: I bought this iHome2go from Amazon and absolutely loved it! The sound quality was great and I was very excited to bring it biking with me. The third time I played music on it, it just stopped working. No sound would come out. The iHome would turn on and charge, but nothing would play. I tried to return it to Ace Digital, the company I had bought it through on Amazon, but it had been three weeks so it was past their warranty time.
Summary: Can anyone tell me how big the package (box) is for this item (I'm trying to determine the height/width/depth of the box it comes in)? Also, if the item was taken out of its original packaging, would it fit into into a USPS box 11" x 8.5" x 5.5"? If not, would it fit into a USPS box 12" x 12" x 5.5"? Many thanks!
Summary: Well when I 1st saw the ihome to go I had to have it so I came to Amazon and saved $30.00 and was very happy with that part. Once I got it on june 17th 2010 I went right to it and hooked up on my bike and rode around with a smile I had people on the street looking and pointing at me with this look like where is that sound coming from and even had people stop me and ask me questions about it.
Summary: I saw this product about a year ago and had to have it. I had been reluctantly riding with my ipod touch, but knew it was dangerous. This item looked to be just what I needed. I researched and saved my spare change for a year and purchased this with the Ipod Nano 5th generation. While it is listed as a compatible device, it isn't.
What I never thought possible--bicycling is now even more fun!

Summary: I do not know how I ever cycled without this thing. Being able to listen to my own music while bicycling makes the experience even more fun and relaxing. Not to mention, I feel ridiculously cool as I have never seen/heard another cyclist with such a thing. The assembly of the remote on to the handlebars was simple. The speaker mount uses your bike frame's pre-existing water bottle mount area (located on the bike frame). However, my bike doesn't have this.
Summary: Fits in standard water bottle and provided surprisingly good audio quality. It is mono but when riding around this is adequate. Little on the heavy size due to batteries and the weight of the speaker but this is more than acceptable for the life and the quality of the speaker.
Summary: Been mountainbike racing for the last couple/few years with this device and it works great, love being able to listen to my music and also hear what's going on around me. Look for me in the 18 hrs of fruita coming up, ill be on my single speed and racing it solo. see ya there!!
Summary: This iHome is great! I've taken it on numerous bike rides now, and I absolutely love it! But as for the review itself: Pros: - The speaker is more than adequate to hear even on the busiest of roads (as long as you turn it up!). I think the quality is excellent; I don't notice any static or distortion. - It comes with a remote control that fits right on the handlebar, making it easy to change volume or skip songs.
Summary: My remote works. The sound is mono not stereo. I was riding my bike for two hours straight and it made my iPod crash because of the heat. Yes it was HOT outside and reading other reviews saying this product is NOT weatherproof. iHome swears that it is weatherproof but it is not. make sure you ride with this device on a cold day and hopefully it won't make your iPod freeze.
